Had two exhaust pipes that were loose at the joint, sagging and leaking. This clamp eliminates the sag,and sealed the joint nicely. Top quality, I will definitely buy again over the standard exhaust clamp.

Used this product for adding exhaust resonators in my exhaust pipe. They are a good alternative to welding and allow you to add or remove components much more quickly.

This was easy to install. The part came fast. Easy to use. I goofed and ordered the wrong size. Was a good price and good quality.

It’s a great product

Break in the pipe was caused when the tailpipe hangers rusted off leaving the pipe unsupported. Didn’t realize the severity of the separation until I wire brushed the area to prep for the additional kit I bought to wrap the area before clamping it. The sleeve was well made and suitable for my project. It was difficult to locate the main area of the break after it was wrapped with the repair kit material I purchased separately. I believe the sleeve could have been positioned a bit further to the rear than I put it. Either way, the break is sealed and it looks like it should buy me some time before having to spend the $300 to replace the muffler I was quoted by the muffler shop.

The sleeve fit my pipe & muffler just right. It covers the rusted bit where a traditional clamp had rusted it all away, so I didn't have to replace either part. Bolted right on & sealed up well, tho I'm on the output side of the muffler (no back pressure).

Not entirly clear to me how these things are sized. Which side is 2 1/4? On a lap joint between the cat converter and the resonator, on a Toyota sienna 2004 it was way too small, and could not be closed.I was able to put a 2 1/4 " U-bolt (tight fit) on this joint, which was described on the parts diagram as a 2 1/4",joint so I am unsure of what I am missing here. An Espeeder 2.25" steel band clamp would not fit there either.It should fit in theory. Perhaps I was shipped the next size down? I had no time to mess around and get a replacement, I had to put the exhaust back together, so I used an U clamp instead, and returning this.A critical ingredient of this clamp is the aluminum spacer block. This is press-fit to the bolt, and should keep the bolt from turning, and should also keep the elongated bolt head in the groove.. Since the block is aluminum ( soft), the press-fit may come apart, in which case you are done, You will not be able to tighten that bolt. Happened to me on a similar band clamp.
