Egate DLP LED 3D Projector K9

Great projector for the money at Rs 37499/-. Indigenous and a lot of features packed into this small box. Definitely breaking out of the entry level home theater projectors a bit with this price range but it is a worthy upgrade from k7 to k9 .Excellent for my home cinema uses , watching cricket matches on a 200" screen. Yes there are better (more expensive) models. But for the price this exceeded my expectations. I have a lot with ambient light and it still preforms pretty decent during the day even with the lamp on low. Before buying this I researched a lot by viewing you tube and other sources.It was difficult to decide among Epson / View sonic / Benq.I found various Chinese models like Wowoto H8 ,Sahara SD 959 DLP ,Luxcine Z4000 Ultra HD 4K ,Original XGIMI Z4 Aurora ..... and many more.I found Egate k9 also exactly similar product....i.e fully Chinese ,not at all Indian.Though Egate claims k9 is Indian..[ it is true that most of the modern electronics gadgets are made in china .]Buying Egate K9 was a Gamble for me @ about Rs.40000/-Initial Response of k9 is good for watching Movies if you do not establish a very large screen with ambient light as the image will washed away...... Picture is somehow sharp.Touch sensible buttons has response problem, Remote and use of wireless mouse can solve this.....packing & box condition was a big issue, Hdmi cable was not provided .I thought of return it back to AmazonIMPORTANT !!Remember It is [ and other Egate projectors also ] NOT for rough use.....unlike branded products.I said this ,because I have used Egate 500 series projector previously.BTW,....USB ports Stopped working within a year.No local technician resolve that.[ EGATE team , are you listining this....? ]Though I showed my curiosity for k9 due to bulb longevity & lumen power as company claims.Fetchers of k9 are plenty as compared to Epson and Benq......But I want to see the durability of this product , how long it runs smoothly.Similar priced Other big brands are much durable & used for data presentation plus watching movies.Honestly saying that, persons who need Fetcher packed cute delicate baby projector of a Chinese brand then you will not be disappointed.I am using this ''gambling'' Made in China [ clearly written at the bottom ] product ..... let's hope it will last for a long period of time.If it does like epson/benq i will definitely be proud owner .I will review time to time about this k9. please comment.For this time it is 4 star from me.Thanks for Reading.

I took this product in May 2018 and I am writing this on 19th September. I have used this product more than 50 times and more than 75 movies. And I would love to write something good and very less bad about this product.I have connected one android media player, a bluray player, one set top tv box to an AV receiver (Onkya 7.1) And AV reveiver's HDMI out to this projector. Works superb for me and very much satisfied with the results.I bout it for 28k.. (there was an offer in Amazon for few days)I was amazed to see the clarity and details (1080 & 720p). Comparable with the professional projectors which is available @50k or above.No need of making a perfect dark room to watch movies (but dark room would make it better)Auto correcting of tilting works wellAlso the auto detection of inverting the equipment works perfectIf you play good quality of movie will be amazed to see the results.. (it supports 1080 blueray movies )Few points I was not happy.. but it did't affect me1. There is no zoom in or zoom out. You need to move the projector according to your screen size. I managed it by mounting on a stand which can move.2. If you try to use the android option of the projector to watch movies try to use a cable for speaker .. or use the inbuilt speaker. There is a lag in bluetooth.3. The normal projector stand holders are too big and u need to buy small customized units to hold this projector while mounting on a wall. it is too small that it is slightly bigger than your palm.

I will not recommend to by this because the remote is not working in 5ft also, every time we have to go behind the system with in one feet and operate.After 5 months the lamp becomes dark and there is no service center for it

Certainly a very good buy! Indigenous and a lot of features packed into this small box. Very good projection quality, ease of use and neat packaging. Didn't disappoint at all. One small glitch is the focus ring... While it works well, it is not so easy to use or focus accurately. It takes a little struggle. This takes away one out of the 5 stars!
