Review: Fab Dab+ Bluetooth Radio - What a fab little radio. It's called Little Shelford but there's nothing little about the sound that comes out of it, it's great a quality sounding compact radio. The buttons a easy enough to press and it's easy to tune in and to save preset stations. The booklet that comes with it is worth looking through though, the alarm was easy enough to set, as well as the Bluetooth paring, so in my opinion, the functions of this super little radio are easy enough to navigate, but like I said, worth a quick read of the booklet. It's not overly heavy, even with the batteries fitted, but still feels nice and sturdy. The power cable is a USB C with looks pretty strong. It also comes with a 3 year free warranty. I chose Black and it's got a nice gold ,almost rose gold look to it on top. Its a great looking radio, well worth the money, I'm extremely pleased with it and can recommend.

**Q: How do I power the Little Shelford radio?**
A: The Little Shelford can be powered using the supplied USB-C cable connected to a power source or wall plug (not included). It can also run portably using 4 x AA batteries inserted into the rear battery compartment

**Q: How many preset stations can the radio store?**
A: You can save up to 10 DAB/DAB+ stations and 10 FM stations. To store a station, press and hold the Preset button, select a preset number, then press Enter/Snooze to confirm. Saved stations can be recalled via the Preset button

**Q: What devices can I connect via Bluetooth?**
A: Any Bluetooth-enabled device such as smartphones, tablets or laptops can connect. Select Bluetooth mode on the radio, then choose “Majority Little Shelford” from your device’s Bluetooth list. Range is approx. 10 metres with no obstructions

**Q: Can I use headphones with the Little Shelford?**
A: Yes. A standard 3.5mm headphone jack is located on the back of the unit. Plugging in wired headphones allows private listening. Please note that Bluetooth headphones are not compatible with the Little Shelford

**Q: How do I set the alarm to repeat daily or on weekends?**
A: Enter the Alarm menu via Info/Menu, then choose Alarm 1 or Alarm 2. Set the time, volume and sound source (DAB, FM, buzzer). In “Alarm Mode,” select whether the alarm repeats Once, Daily, Weekdays or Weekends

What a fab little radio. It's called Little Shelford but there's nothing little about the sound that comes out of it, it's great a quality sounding compact radio. Delighted with this little radio. Had it tuned in, in no time. The sound is excellent, and I can get all my favourite stations. I bought the cream colour, and it looks lovely in my kitchen.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice radio and good value but a little lacking in sound quality

I bought this radio as a portable for the conservatory over the Summer. It has a lovely design and colour (duck-egg blue). And with DAB+, FM and Bluetooth, it provides a good range of sources for the money. I was under the misapprehension that it has a rechargeable battery inside, but it doesn't - the 15-hour battery playback is based on the use of 4 AA batteries. However, a mains plug is supplied. The radio is fairly easy to use with the help of the instruction-manual but like most modern devices with minimal controls, it isn't at all obvious or intuitive. All fairly good so far but the sound quality is another matter. The sound is pretty clear and not exactly tinny, but doesn't have much depth and is a bit harsh for my liking. And the radio has no way of of altering its tonal balance (a major design flow, in my opinion). I suppose it has a sound that is typical of a small radio, but I have similarly sized radios made by Le Mega that sound much better. So, unfortunately I don't think I can live with the sound quality of this radio and it may end up at the charity shop. It's a shame, as it is otherwise very good value for money. And a note about the Amazon delivery... I saw the van outside my house but nobody came to my door. This didn't surprise me as Amazon drivers seldom knock on the door these days and just leave the packages outside. I then got a message that the package had been left behind a wheelie bin... but it wasn't behind my bin or next-door's. I then got a photo of the package behind next-door's fence. I looked and the driver had obviously dropped it over their gate. Just not good enough Amazon!
