Here's what you need to know before buying this. It's a decent knife holder but has its flaws too.PROS: Holds your knife perfectly, if you have a proper chef knife, or the one with more carbon content in it.CONS: 1) It would be almost useless if you're using a stainless steel knife. Don't even bother buying this or any magnetic holder for that matter cuz it won't hold, it won't work.2) The material kind of looks cheap and will easily melt, if you install near any heat source. For exam near your stove and/or convection oven.SUGGESTION: Keep away from the reach of children, as the knives can easily fall and chop a toe off or something, especially if the knife is stainless steel and doesn't hold properly. So before buying it test your knife with a magnet, (assuming you'd have one lying around) and see if your knife sticks to it strong enough. If it does, go ahead and buy it, but if it doesn't, better look for an alternative.PS: If my review helped you make a decision give this review a thumbs up. It costs you nothing.

The product is amazing and will last long. Looks like a Russian made product with all the info in Russian on it's box.Pros:=> Easy to install. I didn't drill the kitchen wall. Used double sided tape instead and that worked fine.=> Magnet is really strong. As you can see in my pics, the knifes that I've kept are pretty big. They are heavy too and yet the strip holds the knifes fine.=> Looks good. Won't affect the looks of your kitchen. Instead will give it a more amazing look.Cons:=> Price could be a bit low.

Good quality

The magnet is not that strong. Sometimes knife or scissors tend to fall if it don't contain much iron. Stainless-steel wont stick ofcourse. There is four metallic strip running on the sides of the two magnet each. These metallic strip sometimes is slightly loose. If its removed totally, the magnet becomes very strong.

Very strong magnet holds lots of items, once you fit it on the wall, you will reduce the clutter in the drawers and have ready access to all your knives

The magnetic knife holder is made of decent quality plastic and metallic strip insert.The magnetic properties or power is average as it only allows mix stainless steel alloy metals to stick at close holds.Some of my same branded knife do not stick to it , as they are pure stainless steel, they fall off in slight touch too.The ones in photograph sticks well and do not fall off.Happy customer bas it does satisfy my requirements of daily use tools in easy access.Wanted it for my tools to be hanged in workshop, but it has a limitation of magnetic power. A few stick well...too many tools on t rack and it looses it's power.

The good thing about this kind of magnetic strip is that it keep knives dry which in turn prevents rust. Another thing is easy access i.e. easy to attach and detach knives.With these being said this is a very good knife holder. Firstly, the plastic quality seems to be good. Secondly the magnet is strong enough. It can even hold a large cleaver. But one thing to be aware of is that it has to be fixed to the wall properly. Initially I didn't fit it properly and it came loose immediately. I almost dumped the item.I've been using this for few weeks now and I'm happy with the product so far. Recommended.
