So who uses a watch to tell time these days? That's what smart phones are for, right? Large face watches are basically fashion accessories. People can spend lots of money for them. Or you can get one that looks like you spent a lot of money on it. This is one of those. It's got numbers around the outside of the dial that say TACHYMETRE, which I don't think means anything, and the numbers don't do anything. It's got a nice clean numberless face, with three little "chronograph" dials. In addition to the standard crown stem for setting the time, it's got two buttons that activate the "chronograph" and make it look expensive. And it comes in a very classy square metal box, which would be great for gifting.The reason I only give it four stars is practicality. If in fact you do use an analog watch for telling time, which I do, you want to be able to glance at it and get a general idea of the time. You don't need to know it's 10:43 and not 10:42. This watch has a sweep second hand, which lets you know it's working. But the hour and minute hand are very thin and are two-toned so you can see them against the white background of the face and the black background of the little dials. So I find I have to work a little even to get a general idea of the time And, even after reading the "watch manual," I can't figure out what the little dials are supposed to do. But, hey, it's a nice looking accessory at a good price. It would make a great gift.

I only recently started wearing wristwatches, and I'm pretty picky because I don't like heavy and bulky accessories. I like how this watch feels -- the strap isn't too tough on my wrist. I like the built in stopwatch timer -- I bought another watch with this feature, and the one on the BUREI watch is the superior version. My other watch's stopwatch sometimes resets to the wrong place. That tells me that these mechanisms are clunky and can be cheap, but the BUREI watch works perfectly. The construction is excellent. very happy with this watch.

This watch is a little bit of a mixed bag for me. It looks nice, but it doesn't quite do it for me in a few areas. The size is a little bit big - coming in at 44mm for the case diameter, 22m for the lug width, 52.5 lug-to-lug, and 12mm thick. I'm not sure about the case material either, as it seems a little bit too bright and shiny compared to my other stainless steel watches (even the ones that are polished). It almost looks like plating. The movement is not very fun to operate. It does what it should, but it feels cheap. The leather strap is somewhat decent.
