It's large so it can wrap around the average leg/knee or use it on your back or shoulder. It comes with a soft cover that protects your skin and it remains cold for several hours. Keep it in your freezer ready to use any time for pain or just to cool down.
Review: Amazing! - I bought this for post breast aug surgery. It worked so well and stayed cold for a very long time! It wasn't too heavy, and covered my entire chest (plus a little above and below-- perfect for the swelling). I would use it, then set it to the side and take a nap for an hour or so, then wake up and it was still cold. I love how it can morph into crevices and that is has a colder and a not as cold side (due to the cover). I looked at tons of different large ice pack before settling on this one and I'm so glad I bought this one. I tried to use smaller (regular sized) ice packs and the "blanket" effect of this one was so much better!

If you have any kind of back pain this is the ice pack for you. Not only is it big enough for your whole back it stays in the same position you put it in. This ice pack stays extremely cold the whole time you use it. It is very durable and the quality of it is amazing. This is actually my 2nd one because the first one I have somewhere to use when I am there.
