Herb for Men Mustache & Beard Dye (Natural Black, 1 Pack)

Having semi sensitive skin, I tried different brands from Just for Men to Cleverman. All gave a reaction. Reactions from a burning feeling, puss & boils, to blisters that lasted for 3 weeks. Have this a try since the label and reviews said less chemicals. IT WORKS!!! I have a full beard with a finer texture of about 80% grey hair. Finished the box, which last for applications. Each application is good for about 3 weeks. While it doesn’t darken as fast as Just for Men, it leaves a good natural looking color. Purple hues may happen but it does fade away. Highly recommend for sensitive skin and those who wants something stronger than henna based beard dyes. Easy application. Only thing that can be improved is there needs to be more of the post dyeing aloe soap.

Pros: Doesn't burn, doesn't stick on to skin Cons: Hair still feels gray/white. Tried multiple times with different wait times and different quantities even for a small area. Bad smell even after a week after applying this product

I have to admit I was nervous to use this. I honestly was tired of my face being on fire from other products and took a leap of faith with this one. After putting the first cream on I was nervous because of the smell but I had committed already. after 10 minutes I put the second cream on and i could literally see the color taking effect. I combed my beard to insure a full coating and left it for 10 minutes. Nervous that it would stain my skin I hopped in the shower. I shampooed my beard 4 times to make sure it was all out. I have to admit this product exceeded my expectations. For the first time EVER I'm not scratching my skin like a crack addict lol. The color is also perfect! No way you can follow the instructions correctly and not have good results!

Amazon did not let me give a 2-star rating. The intention of this product is good, but its effectiveness is not. White hair will be black-bluish, not black; even 2 rounds and almost no improvement.

I was interested in trying this product because I have strong allergic reactions to dyes with PPD in them. I used this for my chest hair and it did the trick! My only negative on this is that it stained my skin and the (one) packet of shampoo that came with this did not remove any stains, I had to pretty aggressively scrub my chest with a makeup remover wipe to get the stains off of my chest. Thankfully the wipes did not appear to affect the hair color. The best part of all is that I had NO allergic reaction whatsoever. Others have complained that it has a purple hue, and because of that I took special notice, and found that perhaps at certain angles in the sun it may have a purple-ish tint to it, but I don't think that it was very purple at all. I don't think anyone else would notice. Overall a good product and the no allergic reaction is KEY!

I am allergic to rest of the beared dyes . Have been using it for past 6 months . As many mentioned here , I also noticed the purple color and wasn’t really happy . But I figured out a way you can make it really black and close to the natural color . Do it once and you will see that it has that purple tint . 24 hours later , do it again and you will see the change. Each time , make sure to do it as directed . Don’t mix and wait 10 mins after each application. Hope this helps someone . Completely satisfied with this product . No allergies so far .

Here are the main issues: When applied to hair or beard, it looks unnaturally black, as if every strand is coated. Once you wash it out, a white residue remains, which looks ridiculous—especially if you’re heading to an event and don’t have time to reapply. The product is extremely messy. It stains your hands and nails black, making it embarrassing to use before any social occasion. Overall, this is a poorly designed product. It doesn’t work as advertised and can leave you looking noticeably worse and uncomfortable during important events.

The no chemical part is what I like about this product but the durability is not there for me. It looks good the first day and by the third day some of the gray shows up, by the fifth day it's all gone. I tried to leave it for 20 minutes and still the same.

Only non-allergic beard colour I found that works well. Don't expect results from first application, the product clearly states it takes couple of applications, and it does work.

Safe to use if you react to normal dyes. No itches or flaking. Last about a week before requiring reapplication.
