I am no stranger to diatomacious earth drying mats. I absolutely love them. I have one as a bathroom mat in front of my shower for 5 months now and no issues whatsoever. Still has the same drying power it did from day 1. I figured if it works great to soak up water as a bath/shower mat then why not use it under my dogs water fountain?! I have 3 big dogs so the most logical option for me was to get a water fountain that holds 3 gallons of water. Of course they splish splosh around and I didnt want this water to end up under my floor boards over time and start warping them. I got this mat in size 23L x 15 1/4 W. It doesn't get all the drips from my messy drinkers, but it gets MOST and that makes me happy 🙂 They come in many styles/colors and adds a nice touch to your decor. They soak water FAST. Like within seconds. Its magic ✨️. There is zero odor. Excellent sturdy quality. But, id imagine if you drop it from 3 or 4 feet by accident, it mayyy break? Im not sure, nor do I want to test it out 😁 I'd say this mat is a great value for what it is at around $20-25. I'd argue it would outlast any fabric bath mat, as they get discolored and matted down over time. Some fabric mats are hard to clean but this just requires a quick sanding to refresh the surface. Good price and works well for how thin it is (about a half inch). Dries way quicker than any carpet I’ve used and without the fibers it requires no cleaning and ofcourse doesn’t smell. It looks really good and goes with my bathroom. I’m a fan of the options of design choice. In terms of durability, I wouldn’t go slamming it on the floor.

SO NICE!! I can’t imagine ever going back to a regular bath mat after using these. It’s like magic!! Not only do these fit perfectly in any room because of their size, they’re also very nonslip by nature, and are extremely durable because you can literally sand off any oil stain or residue after years of use to get a brand-new product that’s extremely absorbent again. Everyone here seems to be worried about Oder and I have not run into this issue in the slightest and I’ve been using mine for over a year and a half now!

Does the trick for my bathroom. Great thickness, color, and slip resistance. It does dry really fast, but my one problem is that my feet left wet looking footprints that did not go away after first use. The more I've used it, the more they faded away, but it tells me that it doesn't quite dry as fast as it says it does.
