This kettle works much faster than my old one and it is beautiful! To be fully transparent, I haven't used the tea brewing feature because I like to use bags in my cup. The tea brewing insert can easily be removed. I also use it heat water to make miso soup which is why I wanted an adjustable temperature kettle. The probiotics in miso are killed at 60C (140F) or higher and this kettle is able to warm to a temperature lower than that. I set it to 50C (122F) just to be on the safe side because I saw other reviews that said the temperature measure is not exact. I live at about 7,000 ft above sea level so my boiling point is closer to 94C (200F) instead of 100C (212F). I set the kettle to 100C and it turns itself off once it boils which is a great feature my old kettle was missing. Once it reaches a rolling boil, it stops and starts about 3 times then turns off completely. I included a video of the process. Even though the body of the kettle is glass, the borosilicate glass handles the quick boil well but I have been careful not to refill it with cool or room temperature water right after because I don't want the kettle to break from the rapid temperature change. The plus side of the kettle being mostly glass is that there should be very little or no chemical leaching into the water as it boils.

After a few weeks of heavy use, I really like this kettle. Finding a 1L electric kettle with all these features wasn’t easy—most are 1.5L or larger—but I wanted something compact that could heat enough water for my wife and I in the morning - 2 big mugs with maybe a bit left over. My must-haves were precise temperature control, easy adjustments, a built-in tea infuser, and a reasonable price. The Intasting 1L was the only one I found that checked all those boxes, and so far, it has exceeded my expectations. What Works Well: Integrated Infuser – The tea infuser slots neatly into the lid, making it easy to steep tea without burning yourself. It lifts out easily and due to the infuser material it is easy to rinse free the tea leaves. Glass Quality – The kettle feels like lab-grade glass—resistant to water spots, easy to clean, and seemingly durable. Precision Heating – You can set and adjust the temperature in 1°F or 1°C increments, and the kettle does a great job reaching and maintaining the exact temperature. Instead of overshooting, it gradually coasts to the target, hitting power for 2-3 second bursts until the desired temperature is achieved. User-Friendly Design – The dial makes adjustments simple, and you can silence the alert if you don’t want to hear the beep when it reaches temperature. Fast Heating – At 1200W for a 1L capacity, it heats water faster than most larger kettles (which tend to be 1500W for 1.7L). Compact & Stylish – Doesn’t take up much counter space, has a sleek look, and feels well-built. Affordable – At $63.99, it’s reasonably priced for the features. Accurate - I tested the kettle’s thermometer against my own digital thermometer. At lower temperatures (around 110°F and below), there was a slight discrepancy, but at typical brewing temperatures, it was spot-on. What Could Be Better: Power base Quirk – The kettle must be on the base to turn the power off, but the base can turn on without the kettle. If you accidentally power it on when the kettle isn't there, you have to put the kettle back before you can turn it off. It’s a minor annoyance. Overall, it’s a great little kettle that does exactly what I wanted—precise temperature control, easy steeping, and a compact footprint. Hopefully, it holds up over time, but so far, so good.

I absolutely love this kettle. Easy to use, cute, and it gets beverages seriously hot. Durable and lightweight. The keep warm button is fantastic. Having hot tea whenever I want is great. Very good product. I took a star off because it says to not fill over the line even if the filter isn’t inside so basically this kettle is good for about 1 1/2 cups of whatever.

I LOVE THIS THING. I’ve long wanted the type of brewer that lets you set the perfect temp, then make the perfect tea without your constant oversight. This brewer lets you put the water in, put the tea in, then does (almost) the rest, and very quickly, too. It does make you set a timer for the brewing time on your watch/microwave/stove/kitchen clock, but that tells you when you’ve brewed it to the precise time. Perfect. All the other options are basically kettles. That and a tea ball are all about guessing. The esthetics are absolutely beautiful. And it was packed like they were shipping it to the Smithsonian. If I could make one change,, it would be that the timer for letting you know it has brewed correctly would be right there on the machine. It beeps when you’ve reached the heat, so how ‘bout another one that times the brewing. Though that doesn’t exactly kill me, I hope they’ll put that on a later model. Aside from that one little thing, I’m in love with my tea maker. It really IS easy to clean, it comes to a boil incredibly quickly, and no, I have no plans to boil eggs in it. If you are someone who appreciates a delicious cup of tea, GET ONE OF THESE. You certainly don’t have to be a tea “snob”, but I imagine once you have one, you’ll want to start trying the various teas. I bet you’ll thank me for this recommendation (or decide I’m nuts), but traveling the world via teas isn’t the worst hobby in the world. I think YOU NEED THIS.

Beautiful and efficient

So far I love this kettle. You can set the temp for any number unlike most that have preset levels. The wide top allows easy filling from our filtered water dispenser on the fridge. The best part is the ability to turn off any beeping; the one we purchased before this made way too much noise, it was returned. Heats as fast as any other kettle I have used. And the people saying that it moldy are not seeing mold, they are getting calcified minerals from their water. The instructions say to descale with vinegar weekly but since we use filtered water ours get very little build up. My only issue is that it not insulated like our last kettle but it reheats so quickly it not a problem. Hoping it has decent longevity, that's my only concern at this point.

Attractive unit, heats rapidly, just the right size for my purposes. I like that you can choose the exact temperature, and that it shuts off automatically. The lid fits nicely and the handle is quite comfortable. It's lightweight and pours easily. The color is very pretty. I'm not happy with the instructions that say not to wash the outside with running water and not to submerge the unit. I simply put soapy water inside, swish it around and rinse with running water, anyway! The sound it makes when done heating is so faint I can hardly hear it, even if I'm in the same room.
