Natural Healthlife Care Indigo Powder, 227g - Green

Genuine product. Smells like some medicinal plant. No chemical smell. Leaves good colour. I mixed with my hand after mixing henna and my hand turned black. Even plastic mixing bowl turned indigo colour. I never expected that this will give good colour. I actually ordered this to use for hair growth and not as a hair dye. So tried in my moms hair to check if it can be used as dye. First applied henna (same company) and applied indigo the next day as said in some reviews. But hair turned brown only and not black. But still was useful as my mom had only few grey hairs and it concealed them very well. When you are having less grey hairs, its risky to use other chemical hair dyes as it may increase rate of getting grey hairs. Anyway I think that this indigo powder is pure without any chemicals and can be used in medicinal hair growth packs.

I bought a 3 pack from 1 seller on Amazon when in India and I liked this product , hence I purchased 2 sets of 4-pack in a rush from another seller on the same Amazon website and had it shipped to the US. This second order is adulterated, smells like chemical waste and after application oozes oily shine like you would see an oil spill on a wet road. The first time I applied 3 months ago from this package , I thought I could be mistaken and tried again now and the result is the same. This definitely is not herbal but has some chemical added to it. I do not understand how a packaged product sold by different sellers can differ so much in quality. This is definitely not for someone looking to go herbal. I rely on reviews heavily before buying a product and hence Iam posting it so that someone may find it useful. I still have 6 unopened packets if the manufacturer or the seller wants to prove me wrong.

Pros: Great organic product. Now a days, chemical products that are injurious to health are dominating in market. Amid of those, it is really good that, natural products like these also gaining demand. It is healthy to use Henna powder and indigo powder, in place of chemical hair dyes,which are harmful. These are 100% organic products.Cons: Still indigo powder can be improved. I am applying indigo powder after Henna layer. But, color is not changing that much with indigo powder. Still henna bargundi color persists on hair. Indigo powder is not turning hair color into natural blackish. It would be really great, if indigo powder helps to turn gray hair into black.Natural Healthlife Care, you guys are awesome, you are doing really great job. Keep it up. Sell more and more our Indian local Aayurvedic organic products, which would increase people's health and life. One advice on this product is, try to improve Indigo powder performance to turn Henna's reddish color into black. Please do some more research on this, to turn hair color into black naturally.

It was either fake or an expired product. Didnt work as expected and instead caused nausea and vomiting after use for me.
