A bit confusing this is described as 1920s accessories because they seem to be very much styled on Audrey Hepburn's iconic look from the 1950s.And it's a great set for that! Yes, it's all plastic, but it's quite well put together and offers and instant 'look' just add your own simple black dress. The clasps on the jewellery seem okay. The earrings are screw on rather than clip on. They are a little bit fiddly to put on (you have to bend the arm back a bit to fit your ear lobe in) but once they are screwed on tightly, they stay put well. The gloves aren't super soft material and a little cheap and shiny, but this is fancy dress, not haute couture. I like that the necklace and earrings come on a proper backing to keep them safe during transit, but also useful for storing them for the next 1950s party!Not sure how many people will use the cigarette holder these days! The cat eye sunglasses are great – pretty enough to wear on any summer's day. Good value for a set which easily hits the 1950s mark.

I ordered this for a Hollywood themed party as it fit in the the glamorous style of the 50's & 60's.Whilst I wasn't expecting haute couture for a fancy dress item, I did expect it to be fit for purpose & frankly I was quite disappointed. The accessories are smaller than expected & the listing pictures are not true to size as they appear to have been edited to make them look more impressive. These items are cheap & tacky & look like something you might get from the toy section at the pound shop. Definitely not worth £18, more like a fiver at most!Necklace:Smaller than appears in the picture; very lightweight & delicate so needs to be handled with care; strange plastic smell which will hopefully fade.Earrings:Clip-ons which can be screwed tighter to hold more securely; very lightweight & delicate so needs to be handled with care; strange plastic smell which will hopefully fade.Hair clip tiara:Broken on receipt; comb made of soft metal which has bent out of shape; 'pearls' are white which does not match the off-white of the necklace & earrings.Sunglasses:Lens not as dark as shown on the photos; cheap plastic which is scuffed on the arms.Cigarette holder:Short & unimpressive.Gloves:Very small fitting; fingers too short; finger ends not sew neatly or consistently.

Described as 1920s themed, these fancy dress accessories date from the 1960s, or my name isn't Holly Golightly. Still, the little black dress is timeless, and it's not the end of the world if you lose an earing.The necklace is regal if slightly overwhelming for this arriviste, the earrings are screw fittings but the comb from the hair clip/tiara had broken off whilst still sealed in its wrapping. The gloves are glamorous, sunglasses are mysterious, and the cigarette holder vanished when I put it down and looked away for an instant.This is the perfect additions to a "Saltburn" themed outfit.

Great for fancy dress and look amazing

Cheap and tacky fancy dress outfit that would be lucky to last one night. It’s an Audrey Hepburn outfit firstly and not a 1920’s outfit. The earrings are awful and look like they will break once pulled back, the hair clip is the same. Necklace is passable and the glasses and gloves are decent. At time of review this is £17.99, I would rate this at £9.99

Received this product through the Amazon Vine programme and this review is based on my girlfriend's opinions.I found this dress up set to be very average with none of the pieces having any real quality to them and at a £17.99 price point that isn't good. I have had other sets at that price point which have had a lot more style to them so can't recommend this one really

These will be used as props in a photo booth at a wedding next year. I can't believe this bag of rubbish is £17.99 at time of writing. I also doubt it will be durable to last the evening. I would even state £5 would be pushing it as a reasonable price.

I got this for use as part of a costume, and it's perfect for that. Though I don't consider the items of evening wear quality, they're fine, so I'll occasionally use them beyond costume parties. Don't forget they're "hand wash only."

The only item I wasn’t thrilled with was the hair comb. It’s VERY cheap plastic and will most likely snap. The listing doesn’t get specific about the earrings but they are pierced. Not clip on or anything like that.
