The company has solved the problem of how to align the Velcro to allow for maximum lengthening or shortening of the chinstrap. For there to be enough overlap of the two sides of Velcro (hooks & loops), either the hooks or loops side of the Velcro needs to be much longer than the other side. By doing so, a great deal of the problem of significant adjustment would be solved.1DOT2 found even a better solution. They used a material for the chinstrap that has the properties of the loops side of Velcro. Therefore, the chinstrap only needs about 2-3" of the hooks side in order to be fully adjustable and have the strength to hold together under pressure. It's a marvelous solution to creating a one-size-fits-all chinstrap!I have bought 6-8 different straps designed with about 2-3 inches length of Velcro. Depending on the holding strength of the Velcro, the user can only adjust them approximately 1-1½" in length or shortened by the same amount. Why? Any more than this, there will not be a sufficient amount of overlap of hooks & loops to hold against constant stretching. With use, the chinstrap material will stretch. That's when the customer realizes one-size-fits-all really doesn't allow for very much adjustment whatsoever. ### ⭐ Fell apart *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2018* Hand washed. Used is a few times and it helped with what I bought it for. Other than leaving black bits embedded in my pores. Hand washed again, hung it to dry, came back that evening and the squishy material had completely separated from the soft material the Velcro attaches to. Save your money and buy a better brand. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits fine. *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2019* I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine. I also need a chin strap while using the machine at night. This chin strap fits fine and does the job. It has the added benefit of letting me put my earbud wire under the strap and the earbud stays in the ear even when I turn over. The downside is that some of the color rubbed off on my pillow. I think maybe if I have to buy a new chin strap, I will wash or soak it first.
