Cleopatra is Beautiful.
Now my favorite flower. The Cleopatra is beautiful. Each time it blooms it has a different combination of vibrant red and bright yellow. Seeds easy to propagate.

Good product thus far
I received 12 seeds instead of 10. I planted all of them and followed the directions exactly. I planted them in a Jiffy peat pellet seed starting greenhouse kit from Home Depot that cost $5. I soaked the seeds for 24 hours starting off with warm water. I dried them off then soaked them for 5 minutes in hydrogen peroxide and dried them off. The seeds were already scored so I didn’t need to use an emery board to try and thin the shell. To my surprise, I had green shoots within 3 days. 8 out of 12 seeds sprouted. I’ll revisit later to say if they look like the picture. Be sure not to overwater the seeds.

Easy for beginners
Very pleased with these. 8 of 10 germinated, with one already flowering in first year. They seem to prefer evening watering, and will sweat it out all over in morning if given a lot. 5 gallon bucket makes perfect first transplant, i drill a hole about 2 inches up the side of the bucket so the very bottom stays wet. Remember to protect them from wind when first taking outside unless you use a fan to toughen them inside. I reinforced the base of the plants when first transplanting with some skewers and thin rope. They get nearly full sun all day in Alabama July and show no signs of distress.

Didn't work for me
I babied seeds,I even used an electric blanket on a low setting to warm the water nothing worked. I'll stick to tubers for future planting. No plants for me with seeds.

Amazing seeds! Great germination high quality, value for money.
Amazing germination!started with 6 seeds, soked them for 3 days and on the 3rd day removed some of the black outer layer, moved to an egg carton with some coconut coir as media, put it in a plastic bag on the window sill, and 5 of the 6 sprouted beautifully within about 6 days! Very happy with the results
