A Reliable Power Backup for Home Office and Electronics
I recently purchased the APC Back-UPS BX600C-IN for my home office setup, and after a few weeks of use, I'm quite impressed with its performance. Here's my detailed review of this UPS system. The first thing to note is the compact design of the BX600C-IN. It's small enough to fit under a desk or alongside your PC without taking up much space. The build quality feels sturdy, and the overall look is sleek and unobtrusive. The UPS offers a load capacity of 360W/600VA, which is sufficient for my home office setup, including a desktop PC, monitor, and a few other small peripherals. The three battery-backed and surge-protected Indian power sockets are a thoughtful addition, catering well to the local market needs. One of the standout features for me is the Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR). It handles the frequent voltage fluctuations in my area seamlessly, with a wide input voltage range of 145–290 volts. The transfer time (10 ms typical, 12 ms maximum) is quick enough to prevent any interruptions or system crashes during power cuts. The backup time varies depending on the load, but I've found it to be quite adequate for my needs. The 1x7.2Ah battery provides around 20 to 75 minutes of backup time, which is enough to save work and safely shut down my equipment. It's also worth noting that the UPS is generator-compatible and works well with low power loads like Wi-Fi routers and DSL modems, which is a plus for a home office setup. The cold start capability is another feature I appreciate. It allows me to power up the load just on the battery, which is useful during long power outages when I need to start my equipment without waiting for the mains power to return. One of the most pleasant aspects of this UPS is its quiet operation. Even during a changeover from mains to generator, the UPS remains silent, which is great as I am sensitive to noise in my workspace. In conclusion, the APC Back-UPS BX600C-IN is a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable power backup solution for a home office or home electronics. It offers a good balance of features like AVR, sufficient backup time, compact design, and quiet operation, all of which make it a worthwhile investment for protecting your valuable electronics against power interruptions.

Excellent for Low-Power Devices, Quiet Operation & Seamless Power Backup
I’ve been using this UPS for a while now, and overall, it’s a dependable choice—especially if you’re looking to power low-wattage devices like an Apple TV, Wi-Fi routers, mesh nodes, or streaming devices. My Ratings: * Portability: 6/10 – It’s quite heavy for its size. Once installed, it’s best to leave it in place rather than move it around frequently. * Build Quality: 6/10 – The enclosure itself is solid and well-made. However, since the power outlets are the most critical part of any UPS, I expected them to feel more premium. They work perfectly, but the socket construction and placement feel average, which brings down my overall build quality rating. * Noise: 9/10 – Extremely quiet. I keep it in my bedroom and almost never notice any humming or operational noise. * Stability: 8/10 – Stable performance with no unexpected issues during normal operation. * Power Switching: 10/10 – The switchover during a power outage is seamless. Connected devices continue running without interruption. * Beeping: 10/10 – The alert beeps are soft and not overly loud, making it suitable for use in a bedroom or office. * Low-Load Compatibility: 10/10 – One of the biggest advantages of this UPS. Unlike many UPS units that shut down under very light loads, this one works perfectly with low-power devices such as an Apple TV and Deco M4 mesh Wi-Fi nodes. Overall Rating: 8.4/10 Pros: * Seamless power switchover * Very quiet during operation * Gentle, non-intrusive alarm beeps * Excellent support for ultra-low-power devices * Reliable for networking and entertainment equipment Cons: * Heavier than expected for its size * Output sockets could be of better quality If your primary use case is protecting networking equipment, streaming devices, or other low-power electronics, this UPS is an excellent choice. Its ability to stay on with very small loads is a feature that’s surprisingly hard to find in many UPS models, and it’s one of the main reasons I’d recommend it.

Worst battery backup
Please never buy this product it's too worst in battery backup it stood only 2hrs for my wifi router without any other so imagine if you want to add another devices like charging your laptop then definitely it will not give a battery backup for an hour also And if the lithium battery cycles are completed then you need to replace the battery but it stays for long period of time So my suggestion is go lead acid batteries

Value for money
I've been using the same model since past 3 years. It is still working perfectly. I use it just to provide power backup to my wifi router. The new piece I bought in 2021 is to provide backup to my additional monitor. One disappointing thing is I don't have any clue about how the battery saver works. If I switch on the battery saver the backup won't even last 5mins. Without the battery saver I have tested this UPS up until an hour to power my monitor on battery backup. Overall a good purchase. I opted for the same model again based on my previous UPS' performance. For all the reviews that complains about the backup not lasting beyond 5mins, I would suggest to please switch off the battery saver option. Another point to highlight here is the chemical smell that comes out of the UPS in the first few weeks of usage. Obviously due to heat the glue, coating etc of the internals of UPS would vapourise some of those chemicals. But these vapours were smelling pretty irritating when exposed to longer times in a closed room. I generally work for 9 hrs and having my monitor hooked up to this UPS made the vapour directly impact me. One or two days I was feeling really dizzy after inhaling the vapour emitted from the UPS. So people who purchase this please plan to use this UPS where there is continuous air circulation. If you happen to use it in a bedroom or something ensure to switch this off at night when you are asleep to avoid inhaling all the chemical vapours emitted. The vapour and the smell subsided after 3 weeks of continuous usage. I don't have any complain regarding the battery backup. So overall it's a good purchase. I would recommend this product.

Just Fine product
I am writing this review After a long time usage. Initial 1+2 months power backup is 20 mins and then it drops to 10 mins. You get short time to just switch off connected device during power supply shutdown.

Best for Router
I’ve been using this product for a week and am satisfied with its performance. I specifically needed a backup solution for my Netgear router, which requires 19V rather than the more common 12V supported by many alternatives. I had considered this product but wasn’t sure whether it would be compatible with my router. My requirement was only a couple of minutes of backup, since the DG usually starts in less than a minute. Even such a brief interruption can be inconvenient during working hours. I tested the product with my router, and it continued powering it for more than 30 minutes, although I haven’t tested it until the battery was completely depleted. It isn’t noisy, and its compact dimensions make it suitable for small spaces. I purchased it during the Freedom Sale for ₹3,300, which I believe was a good price for the product.

Highly reliable backup
We have been facing frequent sudden shutdowns due to power drops, and this APC 600VA UPS has been incredibly effective in protecting our setup. It consistently gives around 10 minutes of backup time, which is more than enough to safely save work and shut down a desktop PC. It also handles sudden voltage spikes exceptionally well, acting as a great stabilizer.
