Next using a kitchen scourer and a kitchen detergent clean the rods to remove the grime and wash off the detergent. They should look clean and white now. I faced a problem during installation as one of the nuts( which holds ceramic bulb) snapped as it is very thin material and due to it I had to run around a lot of shops to see if I can get nut but unfortunately didn't as the size is big. I had to then fix it with a screw tie. This I did because I am a technically inclined person but I wonder what a regular customer will do in such a situation.
