This is the best book on trading psychology and disciple. I have been successfully investing in stock market since last 5-6 years and made bulk load of money... but recently started doing intraday and lost a ton of money instantly.I was in shock and awe that being so successful in swing and positional trades and long term investing how is it that I am so poor in intraday. And then the research mode kicked in and I ordered trading books in bulk from amazon and read each one of them but still couldn't trade properly with any of the strategy.But one day this book appeared in auto recommendations from amazon and I was just curious and ordered it. Got delivered next day and as soon as I opened the package within 15 min I was through first two chapters. It is so interesting to read and follow.This book is so accurate and gripping that I haven't found a single line in the book on which I disagree with the author. This book is meant to be read after you have incurred huge losses and in fact you will understand this book only then when you have faced huge losses in trading. It might or might not be so interesting to a newcomer in the market but it is surely a treasure for the ones who loses in market. The title of the book is totally justified I was a loser (in intraday) and now I have become the best loser and finally I am winning. In trading what matters the most is your psychology and discipline and this book taught me both of them and more than that.A heart full of blessings and thanks to the author for penning down this piece of experience on paper. And FYI the author is a real high stake, highly experienced, highly skilled and massively profitable trader himself. I can't thank you enough "Tom".

I have been following Tom Hougaard for a long time, and I was excited when he announced the launch of this book. There is an 8-part YouTube video series of Tom where he speaks at a broker's conference about developing a trading mindset. This book is 70% a transcript of that video series with almost the same examples with more background about Toms's initial trading journey, and how he went on to become a high-stakes trader.This book starts with the journey of Tom, how he got into the world of trading, the initial struggles he faced when he went out to trade on his own, and how he blew up his account in less than two years. He later goes on to work at a brokerage firm where he discovers why >90% of traders lose money in a fair game like trading.This book is a MUST-HAVE for all those who are "serious" about the finance world. I cannot recommend it enough. Tom will go down in history for sharing such invaluable psychological insights which hardly anyone talks about. It's just strategies & short-cuts that sell everywhere.This book is a real gem!

I liked how the author shared openly about his life and struggles. I especially liked how he put emphasis on developing mental edge compared to technical study like many other books focus on. Will recommend to any trader who is struggling to break the cycle of unprofitable trading

If you are losing money in the stock market, it is because your trading psychology is wrong. Most of the traders know charts well. They win their most trades too. But whatever they lose, they lose more. Hence, most of the traders lose money in the stock market.This is the overall idea of this book. The author explained well by giving statistics and through his extraordinary storytelling. This book might cost a few dollars but can win you much more than that. I must say it's one of my great investments so far.

This book has hit a chord with me. After hearing Tom on YouTube, I rushed to see if he has written a book that he talked about.And I am glad I found it.Immediately bought it and read it in 24 hours. Made notes, made my book of truths, imagery and visualization etc. And this is just the first read,I believe it will be a life changing book for me.Tom and me are similar in many ways, so I am doing it exactly how he is saying it to do to improve the mental side of trading. This time I do not want to leave any stone unturned.Finally he has rightly said ' technicals will take you only far, but if you want to achieve your true potential work on your inner game'.Thanks Tom for the wonderful book.

I read this book after having a bad year in the market , i was new and took random trades for almost 6 months and now i can read the market and its trends almost 60% correctly but still not profitable . This book has helped a lot to control my emotions while trading . I am not perfect as of now in this game but yes , this book helped me a lot . Thanks TOM

This book doesnt talk about strategies which generally is the hot topic now, but it has details about right mindset to start trading or investing. There are very good example to explain real life situation of a trader during the market. I think one should consider reading this book to understand how to control your thoughts while trading.

Reviewing this book feels very conflicting for me. On one hand, I genuinely believe that this book has the power to completely transform you into a different person—if you're willing to follow the author's advice 100%. But on the other hand, I don't want too many people to read it, because the zero-sum game of the market will become more efficient with such good information, making it harder to profit.However, based on my personal experience, unless you have a strong will and an intense level of focus, the chances of the average person truly undergoing a complete transformation after reading this book remain quite low. That said, there’s no denying that the author’s passion for trading radiates through every word on the page, and you can really feel it.Regardless, I deeply appreciate the author's perspective—this is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of content in the market.
