TaosWomen's, Gift 2 Sandal

I REALLY want to give a 5-star review. These shoes are outstanding for their comfort and support -and don't look like an orthopedic shoe. They are like a fashionable Birkenstock -plus these hide bunions.I just bought them to have a supportive summer shoe. Then, when i broke my leg, and was hobbling around on one leg, I was very grateful to have a supportive sandal for the foot taking my whole body weight. Unfortunately, after just a few months of use (gentle streetwear), the top coating is peeling away from the leather. These were not cheap and I had expected to get much longer wear out of them.

Well I have to share that all my years of wearing heels and platform shoes. Didn't pay off at all, trying to look cute!Now I have Plantar fasciitis. Yep, and it hurts like Hell. I did go to a Foot Dr at Kaiser. She asked if I wanted a cortisone shot for the pain. Then they gave me this thing called a boot, which I'm sure many of you are familiar with. Well, the boot is a joke and I gave the boot, The Boot. Took it off and said no way.Just decided to buy better shoes with excellent Arch Support and these shoes have helped me and the pain.How? By lifting up that Arch and taking the pressure off the back heel of my foot.I also recommend another Company called Vionic. Both Taos & Vionic are good Companies. You will feel the difference in the shoes you buy.My feet feel 100% better.Now if I'm on my feet too long then I do start feeling the pain. But I'm going to invest in buying from either of these companies arch support pads that go in the shoes.If you can afford the shoes then hopefully you'll be able to afford the pads that you can put within your shoes. I'm slowly buying shoes with good arch support. So at the moment I only have three pairs of shoes. Two are from one company and 1 pair from the other.As stated I'm happy with both companies. The shoes are expensive that is a major downfall for me as well as for others. But pain versus paying the five! Is worth the purchase.A very tiny complaint I have is with buying shoes like Booties or Boots. If you decide to buy shoes with suede on them, sometimes the Suede will start coming off at the Tippy Toe end of the shoe. So my recommendation is by a boot that is leather. But it's all about your pocket first and foremost. Hope you enjoyed the review.Listen up Ladies! Flats are just as cute as heels. But it's time for you to look good and walk around with No Pain.So treat yourself to some cute flats. With arch Support. Just getting out of heels period. Will make a Big Difference in how your feet feel. 😊

Love the look of these. Was so excited to get them before my trip to Panama. Unfortunately, they are too wide for my narrow feet. The lengthhowever was perfect I wear a 10. I wish they came in narrow. Here is a pic!

These sandals are soooo comfortable. I have them in every color, and I regularly get compliments on them and questions about them from strangers on the street. I teach, so I stand for hours, and they take care of my feet extraordinarily well. They have great instep support and metatarsal support. Just wish I lived in a climate where I could wear them year-round!

I wanted to love these! I am always searching for summer shoes that hide my bunions on both feet. I wasn't sure what color to get so I ordered pewter, bronze and gold in size 8 to see what looked best. I normally wear size 7.5 and the 8 fit me. But they looked "clunky" on my feet and while they hid the bunions, I thought they made my feet look wider than they are and my baby toe kinda hung off the side (and I don't have wide feet!). Also the colors are quite different in person- pewter was darker, almost a black; gold was pretty flashy and dressy looking. I just couldn't justify keeping a pair for that price even though they are well made and have a comfortable foot bed.

This is the second time I tried ordering this shoe. I own a pair from a couple of year ago, so I ordered the same size. I ordered a size 8, which according to my original shoes AND the size chart on the Taos website, equals a size 39 in European shoes. I typically wear and 8.5, but am a 39 European. My original shoes fit perfectly. The first pair I ordered of these new Taos sandals were a size 8 and European 38, not 39. I contacted the company and they told me I must've gotten a pair that weren't made correctly. I ordered the shoes again and the second pair are also TOO SMALL. Not only that, but the European size isn't even in the latest shoe. My best guess is that Taos has found a new cheaper place in China to have their shoes made, and they are no longer true to size. Taos swears the sizes should match their size chart, but that does not hold true with this pair. Sadly as much as I love my original shoes, I DO NOT recommend ordering these. It's sad when a good company decides that cheaper is better. From now on, I will only be able to buy Taos in stores to ensure the sizes are accurate.

It's true these feel like a glove for your foot! The bed is also extremely comfortable - molded with a bit of an arch and curved so your heel won't slide from side to side. I usually wear an 8 in most all shoes, and these 8's were perfect. Others have said they are too narrow, but I disagree if you have a medium width foot.

Ladies, Ladies if you want everything in one sandal here you go. I suffer a lot of foot problems, plantor factitious, bunions and just general my feet hurt. Well I found these! They are so gentle on my bunion, plus it hides it. And I am still wearing a sandal. The arch support is out of this world! I think I might have to wear these in the winter also. I have problems finding comfortable shoes and stylish ones. I want one of these in every color. They are worth the money if your feet are not barking back. Get them you will love them!
