Thinborne Compatible with Pixel 9 Pro Fold Case, [600D Aramid Fiber] [Magnetic] [Ultra Thin] [Minimalist Style] [Carbon Fiber] - Version 2.0

Fits nicely on the phone, wireless charging works well and magnets are strong. Haven't dropped it yet but seems to add a bit of durability for small incidental bumps and scratches.

I've had 3 different aramid style thin cases for foldable phones and they've all fitted like gloves and relied on tape strips to hold them in place. The Thinborne case for the G Pixel 9 Pro Fold is the worst I've seen. The case for the back snapped into place, but the camera bump-out was significantly taller than it needed to be, which made the camera lenses recessed from the case floating above it. The worst part was the front case, which very loosely fitted over the front bezel. With the phone folded closed, the two halves appeared to be made by a different process or team. The front was bezel was larger and much looser than the rear and the color of the front didn't match the rear. It was really odd and there was no way I could use it, no matter how much tape you use.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Wanted a lightweight, magsafe case for my new Fold. The case is perfect.

I love the look and feel of this case. It fits well. I used extra lil sticky pieces that came with it to make sure it stayed in place. But I purchased this case because of the magsafe feature. I use magnetic charging stands at home and in the car. The magnetic ring is just slightly off where it will charge for a second then stop , then start and stop over and over. Will be returning for this reason. Other than that it's a great choice of you don't care about the magsafe stuff.

This is the FOURTH pixel 9 pro fold case I purchased, and finally I found one I love. The other 3 from various brands either didn't fit properly or turned this slick beautiful device into an ugly boxy brick. It's definitely minimal, but if makes the phone more comfortable to hold and less slippery which is great. There is also a lip around the smaller outer screen so there is a little protection there. When the phone is open there is no lip, the case is beautifully flush with the screen. Also, it's just a beautiful case that compliments and adds to the phone asthetics without taking anything away. I recommend adding a glass screen protector, it works really well with this case. Also, be careful with the little sticky bumpers meant to secure the case to the phone. While pulling off the plastic film they came right off and I didn't realize it right away. The case still works fine after adjusting and they send it with extra sticky bumpers (I don't know what to call them). Even though the price was really steep for a phone cover, I'm really happy with this purchase. I'll be looking here first for all my future phones.

Let me start with the good! The case is gorgeous! Very thin and light. Exactly as described. However, when opening the package there was a letter explaining that they have updated the case since the one I purchased has a MatSafe ring that does not align. They offer to ship a new one to us free of charge. Great customer support. Unfortunate, but understandable since it is a preorder product.After putting the current case on my phone while I wait for a new one (as they suggested in the letter), I notice another HUGE problem. The corners of the case are raised on the inside of the screen by a fraction of an inch. This prevents the phone from closing entirely. That is a big problem. The magnets that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has built in can not engage fully and it pops open with the tiniest touch. Not to mention, when the corners are pressed against each other, the front plate shifts and the adhesive comes off. I had amazingly high hopes for such an EXPENSIVE case only to be let way down so far.

This is definitely a mid case. Don't love it. Doesn't feel like the magnet is correctly aligned exactly, so because of this, the wireless charging is iffy. The case kind of falls off at random. It's really expensive, and really not great.

I really wanted to like this case. While the material is nice, the front piece I received doesn't stay on the phone at all. It is too small and doesn't wrap around the edge properly. I was told via a note in the box that I'd received the "new and improved version 2.0" with updated perfect fitment. I'd hate to see v1.0...I've contacted customer service half a dozen times, gotten Amazon involved, they've reached out and we still haven't even been acknowledged.I didn't even ask for a refund, just an exchange of the front piece.For a $100 phone case the product better be top notch as well as the customer service. Unfortunately, with this product you'll receive neither. Go buy a case elsewhere unless you don't mind throwing $100 in the trash.The back piece fits snuggly, so I guess that's worth a star.
