these skins are the thicker 3mm kind, which is the thickest kind i've seen. good texture, nice and supple and easy to move around. the transfer paper worked great in my thermal printer as well!

This 15pc kit from TONBAO is a decent set esp. for beginners like me! I mainly ordered this set for its 3mm skin, so I’m able to better control the depth of my needle. Upon opening, I was impressed w/the skin’s quality, thickness, & flexibility. They feel way more durable than my 1mm that I’ve currently been practicing on & I wish I would’ve started w/these early on bcuz they are easier to work with (see pics 4 diff.) I LOVE that I’m able to use each side which is equivalent to 10 skins but only having to store 5. Each skin arrives individually packaged & measure 7.25”L x 5.5”W.I was bummed that 1 of the transfer papers I received came ripped & crinkled which I had to throw out. I also noticed waves/bumps at the top seal on the other 9 sheets (see pic) which is why I deducted 1-star. The paper fits my wireless tattoo printer perfectly & measure 11.75”L x 8.3”W. The one thing I really like about this paper VS others, is the 1/2” blank area at bottom of carbon paper. It makes removing the top stencil sheet easier w/out worry of flaking & touching the carbon.In closing, this is a good kit for allowing me to practice & perfect my techniques w/tattooing. The double sided 3mm skins will give me a more reliable canvas to help me build up my muscle memory & skills.
