Actually, the first one I bit was hard as a rock. I got a little annoyed and thought "old stock scam" but then I realized it was cold as heck out and waited 30 minutes. And when I did, I bit into a nicely soft yummy gumball. It appears to me they middle-man dubble bubble, you could probably get it cheaper from the manufacturer. But I don't know if the QC is going to be there, this may actually be the better option.
