Got this because I needed something strong for my wheel covers. Easy application, allowed multiple coats with deep shinny results. White to match car color.

AWESOME choice when I decided to restore the bathroom fixtures in our shower/tub. Paint cured just the way I wanted it to. Tried regular spray paint however the paint flaked off. With this paint the adhersion was is amazing and performed the task I was exactly looking for. To get the results you're looking for make sure you apply several "light" coats of paint and allow ample drying time in between to obtain the best results. I highly recommend this product.

I’ve been using VHT products for years on bikes—especially Harleys—and this black is very close to the factory powder coat look. It’s perfect for small parts that don’t take a lot of abuse or aren’t worth sending out for powder coating—things like washers, bolts, brackets, and small trim pieces. I’ve had parts coated with this on bikes for years with no issues. It holds up well and keeps a clean look. One thing I do is keep a light coat of wax on the painted parts, and that helps maintain the shine and finish over time. If you’re looking for a quick, cost-effective way to match that Harley black and clean up small parts, this is a great option.

Great product. Summer of 2025 I spray painted metal patio furniture that was starting to rust. ( we are 15 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean) The furniture was out in the weather all winter, no rust as of 6-2026. WOW!

I had to paint some bare steel leaf springs for an aircraft tailwheel which is often exposed to dirt and rocks and water. I glass beaded them clean, then soaked in trisodium phosphate solution for a bit, then rinsed clean with water. I dried them, warmed them just a touch in the oven. As per the directions on the can I shot a very light coat, waited 10 minutes and shot another light coat. I waited 15 minutes then shot a medium coat. No runs at all, and these pieces were hanging vertically. The dried finish is satin as expected and looks really nice. Time and use will reveal whether the paint is tough enough in wear but the appearance and ease of application is excellent.

Love the finish this leaves when applied to steel/metal parts. That perfect satin finish. Doesn't cost any more than the other good satin brand paint, but i prefer this brand to all the others.

Does a nice job of covering up car parts and leaves a nice and smooth, hard coating. Works well for cleaning up the engine bay or wheel well by getting a quick coat of black to make things look new(er).

I have an old beaten browning HP mark III, which came with factory epoxy coating. I thought of blueing it or perhaps parkerizing, but then decided to restore it as close as original, and then found this epoxy coating in a can! Blasted the frame and slide, light buff with fine grit sandpaper and gave it light coats. The nozzle is great, one of the best I have found in spray cans, does not clog, even and good spraying. After several coats with few minutes in between to allow it a quick dry, I did not want to wait for several days for it to harden, so I figured that since the can says it withstands temperature up to 120 C, I baked the parts at about 100 C for an hour and a half, and let them cool at room temperature for a couple of hours. Parts were safe to handle, and allowed full assembly without any marks of problems. I let the gun sit for a few days as I could not test it, and it looks and works perfectly. I am a bit curious as to how much it will last or resistance to kydex / plastic holsters, I have not used it yet as I want to be sure it is fully cured before trying, but so far, so good, and gun looks awesome, almost like a factory finish. Very happy!
