Although my NAS device does not have these on a compatibility list, I read in another review that they would be fine and they are more than fine.This drive upgrade has completely altered the use and the way my NAS device works. The old hard drives after some 10 years of use were getting sluggish (slow), to the degree that I was struggling to login to the NAS before it timed me out. Changing for these, as they are both SSD and Enterprise drives, has tranformed the NAS device completely. It now works seemlessly and with real speed, these are quick drives making an old 12-15 year old device work like its brand new.It also gave me an opportunity to look at the way I was using the NAS device and setup everything a little differently to match the way that I do things now and probably will do in the future. This is an old Synolgy NAS device, Gigastone Enterprise drives work in them really well despite them not being on the compatibility list.
