Well designed product that you didn't know you badly needed
I had to move several large rocks on my property. This little guy was like having three large humans help with the job. The drill hook up was very simple, my cordless Dewalt worked great as the power supply. The operating directions were simple and the intuitive design makes it very easy to set and release the wire cable. I have a come-along but the cable is way too short. The 40 foot long cable is great! I haven't used this for lifting heavy items off the floor in my garage, but it will be in the future now that I have it. 750 pounds is right in the middle for a lot of jobs. If I need more capacity, I'll get a bigger one. Right now this works fine for my purposes and the cost was reasonable.

Good power and price
This is a good winch for pulling about 300 lb but any more than that your drill will strain to pull it and may burn out. I'm using a 24 volt brand new drill. Make sure you put the drill on low speed if you're pulling something more than 200 lb. I used this for lifting 120 lb and it lifted it without a problem. You can also hook up any other gearbox to this winch instead of using a drill. I hooked up a worm gear motor and it was very powerful and super quiet. The gear ratio of this drill winch is about 94:1.

Great design, super portable.
Moved a 1,250 lb statue (on heavy casters) up a ramp and through my house with this using a portable 20 volt drill on low without issues. I like the open view into the wound cable and the free-wheel setting is excellent. I will happy replace my conventual heavy manual winches for the range and ease of slackening/free wheeling alone.

Pleasantly Surprised....
I have to say that I bought this one due to the reviews, and it did not disappoint... This workbench in the pic's may not look very heavy but let me tell you, it is... Those blue box's are tool box's and they are full of tool's... 1 whole box is just asserted nut's bolt's & screws, just to give an idea to those who know how heavy those are alone.... I normally have a couple of guys with me whenever I need to move this workbench but my buddy's are not feeling very well... I figured for a $100 how could I go wrong... It had ZERO issue's pulling up the kinda steep ramp and onto the trailer, plus I didn't have to worry about someone getting hurt if this bench got loose and rolled off the trailer... I used my Milwaukee 3/8 drive m18 impact as I wasn't sure if my m12 impact would work... I'm sure that it would have now... For those interested the shaft is 8mm or 5/16, again, I used a socket...
