Having a 2016 Kia Soul, you want to make sure you are putting the stabilizer threads up. You need to understand to go easy on dips. Overall it is a great product and serves my purpose at a reasonable price. For those having issues with the blue locks. They need to be tighten down now and then. Check all nuts every few months depending how much you travel.

This cargo carrier was perfect for our vacation! It saved us so much space and allowed all six of us to travel together comfortably. We were able to fit two large suitcases, two medium suitcases, and two travel-sized toiletry bags on it, which was incredibly helpful. It’s also very easy to fold up for compact storage when not in use. The only thing we wish it had is a locking bolt. We have a hitch lock, but the carrier could still easily be taken apart at the hinge and removed from the vehicle, even with the hitch lock in place. We stopped at several auto parts stores but couldn’t find one that fit. I’d definitely recommend finding a compatible lock before traveling for added security. Overall, we were very happy with it and will continue using it for future trips!

This unit is heavy but very strong. The folding feature is great when it's not in use and the unit doesn't take up a lot of space when folded.

Good until it wasn’t. I’ve had this for 8 months and despite being fully covered it still rusted and is hard to maneuver. Pin is impossible to get through when trying to return it back closed position. Honestly I wish I could return it but I am way past my window for a return. This is now rusted, noisy and hard to use. After some time becomes un sturdy. Storage space is nice but not when it becomes un secure. Metal quality is trash especially for the price point. I will NOT EVER purchase this again. I’ve only loaded about 150 pounds of weight nothing more. It is easy to set up but after while as I stated not easy to use. Blue button in the middle often comes loose and hit the back of my suv when in the upright position.

This worked perfect for what we needed. It’s very heavy but durable.

I purchased the one with the buttons. There was an issue with the buttons latching but using a sand mallet to straighten the latch fixes that issue. It is slightly wobbly. I purchased to transport my son’s wheelchair. I love the fact I can fold it up when not in use. The fact there were no instructions included was slightly frustrating but watching the video in the listing is helpful.

Looks good for what it is, and more importantly, it works very well.

Positives: Very large, holds a great amount: canopy, lounge chairs, beach bags, and more. Great fold up design. Very nice looking. Negatives: With taller items on rack you're not able to open the back gate door. Very hard to lock down before folding. The bar that goes from the rack into the hitch receiver that was supplied in purchase is not tight in enough, causing the rack to not stabilize and tilt up and down on each side about 6-9 inches even when empty (see photo). Items on rack must be balanced and tied down because of this. Only an empty ice chest can be transported. Even a small ice chest packed with ice and drinks is too heavy for it to balance if not directly in middle. Even when balanced when still the rack tilts up and down on each side when vehicle is moving. Because of this instability and tilting, I'm returning the product. Adding photos ASAP.
