PATIFEED 150 Experiments Science Kit
I ordered this for my son who is just starting secondary school. We figured this may help just give a bit of an introduction into Chemistry and it sure does that. The instruction manual with this is nice and clear and easy to follow.I would add that of the 150 experiments there are a few that are very basic and would be hard to count as experimental, but these are few and far betweenYou will occasionally need to supply an ingredient, but on this rare occasion they are something basic that most kitchens carry, like salt or vinegar. The experiments can be very messy so having a table with a wipeable table cloth is beneficial, or a decent clear work surface. Our son has spent a few hours experimenting with this and he has thoroughly enjoyed it and also picked up some chemistry knowledge along the way.I should add that our 8 year old son has joined in with some experiments along the way (when allowed!) and I would say is also suitable for his age group, maybe with some supervision just to be on the safe side and possibly save some mess.Highly recommended

The kids loved this set.
Wow the kids loved this set, with each of them turning into a “mad scientist”. It was a great summer activity for them. The kit contained almost all the required items for the experiments, there were a few extra items that I needed but these were all classic things that most people have in their kitchens. There are some very cool tricks/ experiments here as well as some cool facts to learn. Be aware some of the experiments make a big mess so plan accordingly.I hope you found my review helpful :)

Packed with fun experiments
My granddaughter absolutely loves it, and we’ve had a blast working through experiments together. The kit is packed with a wide variety of experiments that are both fun and educational, making it an excellent way to introduce kids to the world of chemistry in an engaging way. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the materials. Everything feels sturdy and well-made, and there are lots of bits and pieces included to keep the experiments exciting. The experiment book is comprehensive and easy to follow, which makes it simple for kids to use with minimal supervision. This kit is an amazing value for money, providing hours of entertainment and learning.

AWESOME - perfect for summer holidays!!
I always struggle with summer holidays. Yes the kids have their clubs and things but at home it's not always easy to give them something educational to do that also keeps them engaged. This is the perfect kit - it has loads of experiements that are fun, and I think really pique their interest, and it has layman's instructions for people like me!It's hard to say what ages will like it, somtimes I feel like it's perfect for my 4 year old because it introduces her to a sense of wonder and sometimes I think it's better for 7-8 year olds becuase my son can pay with it for hours. All in all thoguh, great value, and probably a pefect gift for anyone whos birthday is around summer - although any time of the year is fine too!

Nice gift for older children with an interest in science
This would be a nice gift for older children with an interest in science or those who are interested in how things work. The kit contains lots of things needed to conduct the various experiments described like colour solution, tubes etc, but you will need to provide your own items such as a lemon to actually do some of the experiments. Also, there are some 'experiments' which I would class more as just finding out facts, such as the cardboard skeleton, all you can do is move the arm and leg joints which isn't particularly interesting. Generally though with patience and a genuine interest, this would be a nice gift for an older child to start learning and experimenting with science.

Great way to make science fun and interactive
This set by Patifeed is a brilliant way to pass the time when the kids are off school and looking for something to do. I think it does well at bridging the gap between textbook science and then making science fun and practical for kids. This kit comes with lots of different experiments and all the equipment required. It's very good fun but can be quite messy I'd recommend doing it on a good hard tablet that's easy to be cleaned and doesn't stain. The instructions are brief yet explain the experiments well and did great at walking us through what to do. They are all very fun to do and each has a nice and different outcome.

Lots of options
There aren't really 150 in total due to some duplication but lots of interesting stuff to keep young kids entertained. A good way to get them to learn a bit about chemistry and physics as well.
