Forest Girl's Coloring Book by Aeppol

Sin embargo la ilustración coloreada como ejemplo es pequeña y es difícil distinguir los colores y detalles.El papel es delgado y no soporta marcadores de agua como los Tombow, tampoco acuarelas.

One of the most beautiful coloring books I've ever seen. While it is a bit smaller than some other books like Johanna Basford's, it is still plenty large enough to work with easily and every picture is worthy of gifting or hanging when complete. It has an extensive collection of pictures with three sections: The Girl in the Forest, A Day Spent at Home, and Season of Blooming. There are so many stunningly beautiful and poignant pictures to color in this book, so many moods covered, and such sweetness and genuine spirit to the drawings. Each page to color has a small colored version of it for inspiration on the opposite side, and the coloring page has a dotted line drawn near the binder so its easy to separate it from the book if desired. I use high pigment Prismacolor pencils and also watercolor pencils and the paper has held up beautifully. FYI, most of the book is in Japanese, but each picture is also subtitled in English. My pics are blurry but at least it gives you an idea of the book as a whole :)

I was so excited to see this book become available on Amazon! I had been wanting it! It is a Korean artist. It is quite thick and the paper is really good quality. There are flip throughs to see the contents of it on you tube. Each drawing is given a title and each drawing has on its opposing page a completed colored original image by the artist..The subject is of a small girl and her little dog as they enjoy themselves and ponder life from the comfort of their home in the Forest! Even if you never colored this book it is worth every penny just of course for the very endearing art story. It's a lovely heartwarming book I think anyone would literally cherish! I was prepared to wait a couple weeks for delivery but mine arrived in perfect packaging in only 6 days!

Such a pretty serene book. Only wish the text was all in English not just the image titles...as rest is in Korean. I was drawn to it because on the left hand page is the artists completed colored image which will help as I color the image on the right and see shading and highlight areas. The paper works VERY well with Faber Castell Poly pencils. Some places will be a challenge due to tiny areas to color but most are larger. I've done half a page and love the results.

This book is so beautiful! The quality is really nice and the art itself is breathtaking. If you like coloring you need at least one of Aeppol’s books.

Absolutely gorgeous book! Very nice paper. Its toothy enough to add plenty of layers if you like but not so toothy you can't just go straight to smacking down color as well. Either style has worked well for me. It's definitely worth the money if this is the style of art you enjoy coloring or if you just enjoy collecting!

Sit down with this book when you get it, it is amazing, precious. idea I had was do the pages & give it to your children & or grandchildren, they will have a keepsake forever!!

Worth the high price. It’s better to get one coloring book you absolutely love than three that are ok. Love the drawings and the creativity.
