Our covers are indeed washable, we ask that you remove both the bolsters and the core, zipping the cover shut and shaking off any loose debris before placing it in your wash. Wash on a gentle cycle, tumble drying low or air drying to prolong its life. Do not bleach

Are there replaceable covers for this? Can they be removed and a new one put on?

Some colors appear to have a quilt top, rather than faux fur. Wine and warm brown. Is this an accurate image?

Mine has a quilted top on the mattres and a soft faux material as a cover.

My dog swims in our pool a lot and goes on his bed wet, is the cover truly waterproof and will protect inner bedding?

We do sell Indoor/Outdoor pet beds that feature water-resistant covers that may be a better match for your pup! However, again, these beds are water-resistant and not fully waterproof.
