I was replacing an old timer and anted a similar look. This timer was sturdy and worked great. I would note, however, that the wires attach on the sides making it difficult to fit into small cutouts. Also, the knob was a bit smaller than I would have liked. I still recommend it over others I have bought though.

First switch would intermittently work. Quick return and even quicker replacement and it works perfect! Thank you.

We moved to this spring-bound timer switch after the Intermatic version we bought for decades replaced the steel cover plate with a plastic cover plate. The quality is better, the nut that holds the steel plate to the box is sturdier, and unlike the Intermatic switch, this one comes with a grounding wire.

I bought this because I don't think the thermostats on my propane water heater are working well, and I wanted to be sure it turned off after about 20 minutes, which is how long it takes for the water to become hot. Works great. I had previously used another brand of timer but it stopped "timing" a couple times so I replaced it with this one which seems to be much better in terms of quality.

Installed to time out a duplex receptacle my wife uses for her curling iron. Always worrying about whether she unplugged it or not. This is my second one. They last about 2 years. Tried a digital one but this one is the simplest fix. UPDATE- This item has failed . As I said normally they last a year or so. I have learned there is NO WARRANTY. Just the 30 day Amazon return window. I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND it knowing now you have a 30 day warranty.

My husband hooked it up to our little electric heater in the basement for when someone takes a shower. It works great. This way no one has to worry about turning it off

The Grand kids will use the exhaust fan in the bathroom and never turn it off, it will run for hours - out goes air conditioned air. Now thirty minutes is plenty of time to deal with any odors, and keep the AC in the house.

After receiving and installing this item in early February it began acting up just over a month later. It would either never shut off or only last 10-15 minutes. Now, as of March 24th, the timer will only run for 3 minutes and then shuts off.
