As someone who has bought previous editions of the GT 2000 this version didn't disappoint at all. Fit was true, quality was similar and support was just what I expected. Hard to determine their durability because they aren't rated for a certain number of miles, but I put my last pair through its paces before the soles were shot.

Heels took some time to break in, hence the title, but I'll buy another pair after these because once they were broken in they were great.

As a long time owner of ASICS running shoes, the past 3 generations (8 to 10) have really hurt my heels.I loved the 7 Trail - which are durable, have a slightly softer sole than the non-trail, and dry fast.And now the 11’s are fantastic. The upper is still like the newer ones - thin and wrapped around a frame - but the now-larger heel is very accommodating to walking, hiking, and running.

Good quality and comfortable.
