Is this suitable for 4 yr old and can it be played single player?

My 3 year played this for the first time yesterday and is giving me a run for my money today. He does get a bit bored and distracted after 7 or 8 games and starts playing with the settings. Great to have something that we can play together.

Can you play this 2player (or more?) local play (no internet) without having to buy extra controllers and/or console.

You can play two players if you use the joycons locally, if you want to play 4 player then you need additional set of joycons. Great game so far, been playing at work, our new office game

How much storage do you need spare to use the game?

If you are buying the physical game (cartridge from Amazon or elesewhere) then it's only game saves that you'll be storing on console. Should you buy Digital game (from Nintendo e-Shop) then I think big studio produced games usually take up 6-15gb.

Does the newer uk version come with this code alera20b002? it's on the back of the cartridge this shows if it has been updated with the free patches.

The games updates automatically directly through the console when you try to play it. All the patches are free so the cartridge version does not make any difference.
