Everything was in the box, neatly in its place, the only thing I really had to install was the light itself with everything you need already furnished. The tripod was already set up, just a little adjusting, so far I'm loving my grow light!! It's very easy to operate and works beautifully so far, I hope it works a great as everyone else says it does, that's why I purchased it. The price was great also and I love the tripod and light adjustments this light gives you. It's very lightweight. One thing I found out is to give the plants light during the day, not at night, even though they may be getting daylight in the winter, this growlight will give them the boost they need. Plants need a break from light during the night-time just like people. Too much light can actually harm your plant. I set this light at 80% starting off the first week and then at 100% there on on the 12 hour timer, this grow light is like a plant nanny and literally takes care of my plants for me. The timer works flawlessly. I recommend starting your timer from 8 a.m. till 8 p.m., that's about the amount of light they would get in the summer time, which has been perfect for my plants so far, they are loving this light and the investment was well worth it!! It has the full spectrum light they need and are already showing amazing improvement. Trust me, if you give them the light during the day and let them rest during the night they will show you love back by doing what you want them to do by growing!!

While I like the lamp and timer functions, the individual LEDs have been gradually flickering and failing since my purchase in November. Product info on the website indicates a lifespan of 50,000 hours. It also states a 1-year warranty, but there is no easy means of contacting the seller. And I agree with another reviewer in that it seems to be a single-use item, even though when you already have the tripod and power supply, there should be a way to replace the LED panel itself, if/when it goes bad. A big waste to have to buy all components again - not environmentally friendly in this regard. UPDATE: The seller contacted me after seeing my review to apologize and offer a replacement light panel at no cost. This is very much appreciated. I do still feel that there should be a way to replace only the LED block itself to be more like changing a lightbulb, as opposed to the entire light fixture/control pad, but I'm glad that I didn't need to get another tripod and power supply. I am happy with their response. Thank you!

I have one of these along with some other grow lights. I noticed my herb garden plants under another brand and type of grow light are getting leggy and straining towards the one from this company. Clearly plants like it and respond better than to my other grow lights. Time to get another one for some plants brought in for the winter. I find that a new model is available from this company and it is superior in several ways (strength of light and height) to the previous model. I ordered the new one and this arrived - what's not to like - easy set up, on and off automatically, strength of light choices and a broad enough beam to handle multiple plants. I waited a bit late this year to bring in the asparagus fern - the poor thing was dropping needles and turning brown. I watered it well, gave it a bit of fertilizer and stuck it under this light. New growth is appearing and needles have quit shedding. So far, my tea plant seems to be doing very well under this after doing so-so under another, weaker light. And in the spring I can put a large plant in a dark corner and watch it thrive with this.

I love this thing! I needed something to keep my Hibiscus tree alive through the winter. This is tall enough and casts enough light to keep some other plants alive that are four feet away. Best purchase ever!
