I just got this today, and so these are my initial impressions. The quality is decent. Judging by the relay sounds, it has four voltage ranges: 0 - 4.0, 3.5 - 9.3, 8.8 - 13.8, 13.2 - 18.4. The displays always show the output, so for example you can't see what current limit you are setting without a load attached. Being illuminated, they are easy to read. The knobs are both single-turn potentiometers, despite the manual stating that the voltage control knob is multi-turn. It is not difficult to select a voltage to 1/10V accuracy, which is all the display provides. You can select to 1/100V with a multimeter attached and a very steady hand, although it requires some back and forth to home in on the desired value. Two minor negatives: 1. My unit had something loose inside when I received it. I took the cover off to find out what. It turned out to be a small chunk of solder. 2. It smells bad, although that is fading and I do not expect it to be an ongoing issue. The unit operates as expected. It looks good. It's cool and quiet. I'm happy. Feel free to ask questions if you have any. UPDATE 3/8/2023: I've had it for almost nine years and it still works great.

As a lot of people said, it stopped working after 1 month. The voltage keeps dropping. It can only maintain 0.25a or so. So frustrating! 😞

Works like a million bucks for just a few well spent bucks! Super easy to set up and use. I bought it to use for making my Electroformed Jewelry. It fits this need perfectly. I was worried with the price being modest that I would be getting something poorly made and inconsistent. So glad to say that I was happily surprised to find out it was in fact well made and consistent. 1st time I used it, I had to on and working at my set setting for over 5 hours with not a one hiccup! A steal for the quality and peace of mind!

This unit is smaller and is designed better than the power supply that this is replacing due to lose connections on the older unit. So far, this unit works just fine.
