I needed a way to switch my notebook computer's ethernet connection between two different routers in my home office network setup. I was only experimenting, so I checked Amazon for an AB ethernet switch that was budget priced. This was one of the lowest priced switches I could find. I figured if the experiment didn't pan out, I could just throw it away. Well, I'm keeping it. This little budget switch worked flawlessly and I'm leaving it connected in my network. The switch doesn't require any external power, it has a small footprint and bottom line, it just works. This turned out to be a great deal.

Just what I needed. I work from home and this is how I can easily change my Docking Station between my work firewall network and home network.Great build quality. Very sturdy and satisfying click when switching.

We have a couple of these we use with our home NVR/PoE security system. We have some cameras that we don't want on all of the time. This Ethernet (RJ-45) A-B switch is a perfect, well-made, well-designed, and cost-effective, solution.Those other Ethernet inline on/off switches only turn off the data pin, not the PoE power. That is NOT what we require.Using only one of the two lines of the A-B switch works perfectly as an on/off switch (all connections for each Ethernet cable). The device appears very well built especially for the price.Aside: For initial reviews of products, we never give 5-stars. Durability, longevity, etc., cannot be evaluated until well beyond any warranty or expected device "lifespan."

Good built and feel. Button is sturdy and nice to the touch. Can't go wrong if this is what you need. Just remember, this is not an active Ethernet switch, this is just a mechanical switch.

Exactamente lo que necesitaba para mi red en 10 Gbps, antes tenia otro color blanco con 2 botones comprado aca tambien en amazon pero solo funcionaba hasta 1 Gbps, lo uso para tener 2 proveedores de internet pero uno me da 2 Gbps y el otro solo 60 Mbps ya que es solo para respaldo ocasional.

I have two Internet lines at home, but I don't want to buy expensive router with 2 uplinks. Then, sometimes I have to switch between my lines manually, not because one is failed. This switch doing exactly what I want. Before I simply plugged one Ethernet cable off my home router and then plugged other cable. Now it's much easy to switch between Internet lines. I didn't note any slownesses using this switch, the Speedtest returns the same values like for the direct cable connection. It's small and doesn't take a lot of room

I finally got a connector that works with two TVs on the same network. The quality is very good and built well.

Works as intended, a little less than some options but works switch is easy to use good click feels sturdy.
