Very nice first watch for any kid. Color coded hands are helpful. Easier to teach them how to tell the time.

Love the watch. I purchased for a 5 year old that wanted to learn to tell time. It is well made, Stays on the wrist well and I bet I heard 4:00 twenty times The first day. It's very cute, durable and I like water resistant.

My 2nd grader was having difficulty understanding an analog clock, so we got him this timex watch to help. We got the blue one with sharks. The details are great! The word “minute” and “hour” are printed on the appropriate hand, and the numbers are written out for the hour (and the minutes along the far edge). It’s taken the confusion out of learning to tell time. Like others have said though, the band isn’t good. It’s stretchy elastic that feeds through the sliding buckle. The little teeth kept it in place for the first week. Then after that it kept slowly sliding out and loosening up. It fell off his wrist a few times. Now he stopped wearing it since it won’t stay on. I plan to fit it to his wrist and sew it, since nothing else we’ve tried is working.

Nice first watch for a gift to a 6 y/o

Got this for my nephew who loves dinosaurs. The watch face is easy to read and aides children in learning to read time via dial and hands. The numbers are actual numbers not roman. The hour hand has a Dino head on it and both minute and hour hand have the words written on them for identification. The colors are very cute. The size of the watch is just right for a 6 year old. The band is stretchy enough for comfort but wont go loose. It can stand some wear and tear ( needed for kids). It is easy to put on and take off. The kids can do it themselves. There is no tongue (stick that goes through the whole) like on adult watches. Over all, a loved gift!

Good watch, but no good band.

My little guy loved this shark watch. He was too young to tell time, but he wote it all the time.

My first grader adores this watch! And she quickly is telling time and respecting it more! She asked for digital but I wanted her to read analog; we are surrounded by digital. Personally I am not a fan of the band's closure piece but I guess that's the downside to the soft, elastic band.

Un reloj super adecuado para un niño, mi hijo es muy inquieto y no ha tenido ningún problema con su función, la correa se adecua perfectamente a sus manitas, solo requiere cuidados de lavado porque con el tiempo pierde color pero nada q se note demasiado. Super recomendable!!!

My 8-year-old daughter was still struggling with learning how to tell time on a clock despite doing workbooks on telling time. She loves pandas, so when I saw this watch, I jumped on it. Within a day of wearing this watch, she had mastered telling time!! The hour hand is marked "hour", the minute hand is marked "minute", and the seconds are indicated by a little panda - these features were helpful for learning how to tell time on an analog watch. The watch is very cute, and the elasticated strap is comfortable and adjustable. Highly recommend!

Average quality - not worth the price. Time will tell if it lasts.

The watch is really cute and easy to read. But we only wore it for three days before losing a pin for the band. It also scratches very easily, in a few months of wear I doubt we will be able to read it clearly.
