I first found Almo Nature wet Cat food but pet food prices were raised 50-80% after the pandemic. I was looking for a wet food that was similar to some of the wet food brands I'd been buying which are/were rather expensive even before all prices went up. The type of wet foods that I wanted to find in an alternative brand that was less expensive has either aspic or gelatin to hold the food together and that is one of my cats' favorite part. They LOVE gelatin and aspic. So, I found 2.5oz cans of Almo Nature and many other types of Almo cat food options and many of them seemed to look identical to what I had been feeding them. I saw that they offer this small box of pouches as opposed to a 24 can commitment to a food I wasn't sure they would like so I decided to try the pouches. As seen in the pictures, it came out in lot of wet aspic and big chunks of fish and other real food. I could see that my cats knew something was slightly different at, first but once they licked the juice, they immediately went in for the rest and loved it. I'm really happy to have found this but, more so, I'm happy that my kitties have something that they love so much. It makes me happy to see them happy.
