Purchased for my friends kiddos birthday as he loves building and already has a lot of legos. He absolutely loved that it was different and had tools to build with. So happy it came with build for multiple designs. The durability with the metal is superior. Great value not only for the product but value this gift brings happiness to the 8 year old!

Nicely stamped, machined and polished metal parts, and the few that aren’t metal are quality ABS plastic. This kit and the models built from it should last generations. Pretty good instructions are provided for four projects and I’m sure young imaginations will come up with more.Accent panels are a pleasing bright red and the rest are a chrome finish silver. All parts have been deburred and have no sharp edges. Assembly holes have been precisely milled so there are no fit or mating issues.The entire kit appears to be age appropriate and child safe for the 8+ age recommendation, however there are small parts that are potential chocking hazards for underage brothers and sisters who might have access (the seller’s Amazon page says 5 through 10 years old but the packaging says 8+). Anyway, great training for fine motor skills, following instructions, problem solving and patience.The box is a good one, but unfortunately the compartmented vacuum formed interior thin plastic tray is flimsy, so you’ll have to come up with your own container to keep this 288-piece kit together. The included Philips driver and box/open wrench are not comfortable for long term use so you may want to upgrade them.Overall, a very desirable toy, similar to the Erector Sets of my generation, that will provide hours of quality time for parents and kids together, and the bonus of time away from video games. Introduce children to the satisfaction of actually producing something tangible! What a concept! 😊

The six in one stem kit is really cool. Comes with detailed, clear instructions. All the pieces can be arranged into 6 different vehicles. Challenging kids over age 5, its good for hands on thinking.

This toy makes a great gift! It has different age levels ranging from 8-12 years old. It also has different difficulty levels ranging from not to hard to pretty difficult. Once the toy is put together it can be used. It’s great for families who would like a project to do, or for a kid with an engineering mindset. Very fun, durable toy!

I got this with the intention to give it to my grandson for Christmas, but I think he is too young for it. This is listed as ages 8+, but I think it is slightly too complex. I would recommend ages 10+. There are many tiny pieces in this kit, including screws and washers. They do not come in a resealable bag, so you should have a container or resealable bag that you can put them in once this package is opened. All of the other pieces come in zip top bags, but the package of the tiniest parts, that needs it the most, do not.The wheels are soft rubber, and the parts look to be fairly sturdy. This comes with instructions to make six different vehicles from the parts that are included. The instructions are pretty clear but the delineation between one vehicle and the next is easily missed.This would be a good activity for a child to do WITH a parent.

This set takes me back to when I was a kid and played with a similar product to build the coolest creations. Great for practicing motor skills and fine tuning building skills. The pieces in this set are well built and strong and will last for many years of rough play.

Nowadays, many children prefer watching shows or playing video games rather than engaging in creative activities. I remember when kids scrounge for parts to build their toys, such as cars and trucks. This construction set makes it easier for them to be creative and exercise their imagination. Per the product description, there are 288 pieces for building one or more of the six suggested toys. The instructions in the box were good enough for the kids to follow. I hope that my grandkids, who are 7 and 12 years old, will be more creative when constructing other toys and that it will also improve the bond between themThe metal pieces in the kit look safe, with edges that are not likely to nick or cut them. I found no issues with the other components other than the likelihood of losing some. This kit will last a long time and allow us to spend more quality time with the grandchildren.

So my kiddo is just turning 4 and this is admittedly a bit advanced for him, so most I’m building stuff while directs and plays with parts. He has actually gotten pretty good at picking the parts needed and it really does help developer find motor skills, just use in moderation with younger kids so they don’t feel overwhelmed and get frustrated.
