When I read a review of this book, I could not wait to read it and I just knew it was going to be a page turner for me. I even had Amazon ship it overnight instead of waiting for the lower-carbon option. Boy was I ever wrong in my expectations! This book is full of hundreds of details and the people associated with them. Certainly there will be readers who want and need this information but for someone like me, who wants it to flow like a novel as Katharine relates how she helped writers, this book is anything but that. I am so sorry the reviewer (Washington Post) didn't write a more comprehensive review.
