Good PSU and excellent service.
This was to replace a recently blown 600W PSU for my PC. I wanted a bit more power as I'm likely to be upgrading other aspects of the desktop in the near future so the extra power is there in reserve. The PC's existing PSU had blown on a hot day as its fan had, unknowing to me, seized. It went at around 7.30 pm and I quickly sussed out the12V had failed. Ordered this new PSU at just after 9.00 pm as it was still on next day delivery even at that time. It arrived at just after 9.00 AM following day and was in PC 1/2hr later. The shortest PC down time ever. Cannot compliment enough and would give 6 stars for service if I could. PSU seems fine and is quiet as stated. (But as my last PSU was also quiet and I failed to notice that the fan had seized I'm now not sure that's an advantage!!)

So Far Works Alright
Came in good time. Needed to get an old computer with a 670 Watt PSU in it that had died and this did the trick-can't really comment on durability, it seemed to be well made but the PC is about to be replaced. Although it wasn't used for gaming I'll probably be using it for a final few 2 and 3D film projects rather than struggling to transfer them in to the new Windows 10 machine.

Poor quality, potentially dangerous
Tried to just use a normal mains lead that I already had plugged in for the computer but it wouldn't fit properly resulting in arcing on the connector and unreliable connection, I had to use the one supplied with it, so potentially a non UK complient IEC connector on this product. After mucking around working this out I unplugged the lead from the wall and a few seconds later I moved the mains plug out the way, in doing so I touched the pins and received a nasty electric shock from them so there doesn't seem to be any protection in the supply to safely discharge the input capacitors to avoid a high voltage being accessible when the plug is removed. After all this I did get it working, but the computer just doesn't seem stable and glitches quite often so dont think the power output is particularly stable.Am returning for a refund

Seems like good value
Two issues with this; The ATX 12Volt lead is too short (I see others have had this issue), not an issue but means waiting while an extension lead arrives. There are no 8 pin ATX connectors and a system that needs 750 watts like mine requires two. So I had to get two adaptors, one for the graphics card and one for the motherboard. Again solvable but seems to be an oversight. Some motherboards can use an 8 pin or 4 pin, but you would still need an extension.Otherwise it feels well built, and it's quiet in operation, but by the time you buy adaptors and wait for them to arrive it isn't as good value as it seems.

Exactly what you expect
Shame doesn't have the twin 6 pin power connector for GPU. I had to but an adapter cabvle to get this psu working with my setup.Product well made and not noisy.Be aware that if you need 2 6 pin gpu power cable this is not the for you unless you 're going to buy an adapter.
