Precious Cat Dr. Elsey's Ultra Cat Litter, 18.14 kg

I used to swear by Dr Elsey’s back home in the US for years, but wasn’t able to find it after moving to England. Glad to see it’s available now and I haven’t found a comparable clay litter that works better with a Litter Robot, or that generates less dust. I’d say the tracking and odor control are on par with other bentonite litters though. This is a little pricier than other brands, but it’s a decent size bag so lasts a long time with a litter robot.

Lovely grey, fine and soft grit that works well in automatic cat litter trays. Clumps poop well so the machine can clear it well leaving clean grit behind.

I have two cats and struggled to find a cat litter that helps me manage the litter easily. The absorbency of the litter makes it extremely easy to find the clumps of urine and tracks the poo easily. It makes litter cleaning within few minutes which is super convenient for a single mum of two boys and busy on the go schedule. For the amount this package comes in, one bag lasts me for 3+ months and a great value for money!

One star off because this is some very expensive litter. On the up side, it's one of the only litters our cat will use, so needs must. It's unscented and clumps perfectly. It does very well with odour control. It does have as much dust as other clay litters and its small particles tend to track rather far. We've been tapering our cat onto World's Best Clumping, which is a better fit for all involved, because the dustiness of this was making us all a little miserable. Still, probably the best clay litter on the market.

I came over this product when I first got my own cats(Bengals) and started to read up about RAW food. I visited a few great pages but this one veterinary page where she explained why RAW is truly the best way to go for a healthy cat, she also talked about litter and problems a lot of people may experience. First reason this litter was picked is because it DUSTS a lot less than other litters, like for example World's Best Cat Litter. So after having used World's Best Cat Litter and wasn't too impressed by the poor clumping I decided to go for this one. And let me tell you, this thing is like cement! But, in a good way! The thing is, when cats go to the litter box, and when they push the litter around, it generates a lot of dust. The dust it generates is not good for your cats lungs, and as such this litter is great. It dusts very little compared to other clumping litters. If you are buying this litter, make sure you put a really thick layer of it, this litter is like cement. If the pee reaches the bottom it will be hard to get off. Buy a sturdy litter scoop! If you let the pee dry up for a while, it will get dry pretty quick, and then it is it's super easy to clean. It really clumps perfectly, and it never falls apart like it does with other cat litters. It may take a while to get used to this litter and to learn how to best use it, but this litter is better than TWBCL, it is a lot more gentle on your cats lungs and doesn't fall apart!

We’ve waited a while to review this to see how the litter behaves in a week compared to the Catsan ultra (clumping) and Natusan Clumping in the other litter boxes. Honestly, reviews are a bit inflated with this and given that the litter does it’s job it solely depends how your cat does his/her business. If a male cat pees on the wall of the litter box and it all flows down - when cleaning this up it’s like scraping a wet cement mix of a plastic container, and the coarseness is a bit to much compared to the “Natusan natural” or “Catsan Ultra clumping” I don’t see how such a coarse cat litter will make cleaning or sifting the box easier. Both Natusan and Catsan are better than this “Not so Ultra” cat litter. Having said that I wouldn’t buy Catsan Ultra of amazon due to highly inflated pricing , I would look in petsathome And if you wish to compare this to Natusan, they do have their own website. Not worth the money but glad we’ve tried this to know what else is out there

Honestly, this is the best litter ever. Doesn’t stink, clumps well. Super effective.

I have been using Multi Cat Litter by Clean and Tidy and they have changed the "recipe" as its been so dusty lately I haven't been able to use it due to my Asthma. So I was looking for a new one and saw the reviews on this one and thought id give it a go, though a touch expensive for me, but im so pleased I did. It clumps all wet waste like a little rock and I hardly have any loose grains when cleaning it. I have also noticed this has lasted twice as long as the other too. I have 2 trays but my boys and used this in the 1 tray to begin with and filled it generously and I have not had to top it up at all. The second tray is using the last of the Clean and Tidy and have topped that up nearly once a day. Will use this all the time now. No dust No paw prints No smell No waste. Would highly recommend this

I recently decided to switch from crystal to clay litter and ordered two bags, intending to have an extra on hand in case I got busy. However, I was surprised when they shipped me one massive 40kg bag instead. It was incredibly heavy, and lifting it felt like it was going to break my back. Unfortunately, the packaging was disappointing. There was a tear in the bag, causing sand to spill out. Unlike other brands that package their product in a box to prevent damage, this one didn't seem to care about protecting the product during shipping. When people say the clumping is HARD, they mean it—literally. Scooping and cleaning the litter box was a real struggle. On the plus side, it does the job well, isn’t dusty, and controls odors to some extent. Adding a litterbox deodorant helped significantly with odor control. In conclusion, for its price, this is probably the best affordable litter on the market, especially if you're concerned about your cat's lungs due to dust. I'm not sure if my cat loves it, but he definitely prefers it over the old clay litter I bought in the past. While I still personally prefer crystal litter for its softness on the paws, it's just too expensive. Overall, this is a good product, and I’ll consider buying it again—just in a smaller size.

This is the best litter I’ve ever used. I’ve tried so many different types of litter to help with how much my two cats were tracking around the house. I was getting so sick of having to clean white paw prints everywhere and constantly sanitizing. This stuff has zero tracking and has made my life SO much easier when it comes to cleaning. I used to hate having to clean other litter and the clumps would fall apart everywhere and make a huge mess. This stuff clumps into super hard tight balls that never fall apart. Soooo easy to scoop now. You do need to have a super sturdy litter scoop though cause the clumps are almost like balls of cement and very heavy. This stuff also helps to dehydrate poop very well so I never have problems with messy sticky poop getting stuck to the sides of the box or on the scoop. I find that since this stuff is so good at clumping it leaves the rest of the litter much cleaner for longer and I don’t actually have to completely dump the litter once a month and replace with a new batch. Saves me time and money. It’s also unscented and doesn’t easily get stinky or hold onto the stink once it’s been scooped clean. I hated how other litters would still stink even after it had been cleaned. Not a problem with this one. Only negative is that this stuff is super heavy so I need my husband to do the first pour out of a new bag. Maybe if the packaging had a handle or something it would be easier.

Update; I’ve been meaning to come on and here review the litter after use. Just like any clay litter, the more you scoop, the more you break down the granules. As the granules break down they become a powder causing dust. The dust I am experiencing from granulated break down is bad, as to be expected by process, but it’s not as bad as the litter in the yellow tub that starts off extremely dusty. So for those who can afford to, that want less dust, you need to do full litter box changes more often. When the dust has got a limit that you can’t take anymore do a full change and you’ll be back to less dust from not only this brand but any other brands. ✌️ I have 2 cats and 1 large litter box. I haven’t had the money to move into the future with an auto litter box. This is my first time using this litter so i started with a full clean. Upon pouring the bag of litter into the box there was zero and I mean ZERO dust. So my first impression was holy cow no dust. The whole reason I wanted to do a full change was the more popular name brand in a bucket is so dusty it’s 100% unhealthy for my cats and I. This litter is amazing. It clumps great. Also, I have to mention I absolutely hate when litter breaks down and leaves little pieces every time you scoop. I mean what’s the use if there’s little pieces all mixed up in the litter you’re trying to clean. I have NOT had that problem yet while scooping. For being slightly OCD with how clean I want the box I’m again, impressed. Just remember YOU MUST add a good amount of litter to your box in order for it to NOT stick to your box so the litter stops the urine before it gets to the plastic. You wonder about it hitting the sides first, still it will clump perfectly if you put enough litter in the box stopping it from sticking to the sides as well. This litter is trapping all smells as well. I’d give it 10 starts of I could. Completely impressed and will not be going back to any other litter I have previously used. Would 100% recommend whether using an auto or stick scooping yourself. ✌️ fellow cat lovers 😊

He probado muchas marcas pero ya me quedo para siempre con esta. Controla muy bien los olores y aglutina muy bien lo que La hace fácil de limpiar y así dura más.
