When I opened the box, the fan looked just like the image and was the size I was expecting (stands roughly 12" tall and about 7" wide). To power the unit, you use the USB cord provided, but will need your own block that plugs into an outlet. The remote is simple and easy to use, or you can operate the functions from the fan buttons. The directions explain some things, but not very clear for everything. With a little use you can figure that out though.I bought this to use when I tent camp to help keep me cooler on the warmer nights, but of course had to try it out at home first. I added some ice water to the bowl, turned on the fan and the misting/cooling function and went to sleep. The thing made a lot of noise and I only had it on for about 2 hours before I turned it back off. I usually sleep with a ceiling fan on, but no sort of white noise or anything else typically - just pure silence. The next night I played around with it some more, because it sounded like it was pulsing water in the night before (goes back to the directions lack some information.) I discovered the cooling/misting option has 2 settings (1st light- continuous pumping, 2nd light- pulse pumping). I set the unit to continuous pump which helped it not seem as noisy, went to sleep, and got some solid sleep all night long. The next morning I noticed water spots on my phone which was right next to the fan, so it clearly blows the water you put in the tank. I used it again a 3rd night with just fan only and there was very little noise and still helped to keep me cooler.Pros:- Fan has 3 speeds and can move a lot of air on the higher settings.- The decorative LED light on the top could provide a sort of night light if needed- It does mist air across the fan and blows it around to help cool (was kind of skeptical if this function would actually work)- Lightweight and compact which makes it easy to pack up and move around.Cons:- It does make a lot of noise on the pulse setting for the water, but I just won't use it.- The LED indicator lights for the fan speed and the water mist setting were really bright at night, but I'll tape over them next time to help dim them.- The drain tank on the bottom could use a little better drain design, but overall it's not terrible.Overall, still a very handy and potentially useful fan/cooling system!

This is an incredible substitute to a traditional air conditioning unit. Where those can run hundreds of dollars, this device for the price is very efficient at keeping an area cool. I work from home and have multiple monitors and other devices running at one time, so my office can get hot even with the windows open during the winter (I'm in the North). This air conditioner not only has no trouble keeping the area cool, but can do it consistently for several hours without needing to refill.Additionally, it doubles as a humidifier due to the water vapor that it produces from the fans. You can also add ice into the reservoir to increase the amount of cooling it provides. The light it produces is on the dimmer side, which for me personally is a nice thing as it stays dimly lit even when off, making it easier to find in a dark room.My only recommendation to the developers is to consider making a model with a battery installed into the device, so it can be fully portable. I would definitely pay a premium to have one to take to the beach with me. But, due to its size and weight, it has no issue accomplishing this already with a battery pack.

The media could not be loaded.  It's durable but lightweight. I can control fan speed and lights. I can put ice or water in it or just use the fan by itself. It also has a timer on it. It's runs pretty quiet. I live in the south and I've used it in my bedroom and the living room. It's great to have when you don't want to cool the whole house down. I intend to try it out on the patio next.It's a handy little fan.

The media could not be loaded.  Works great, easy to use. Multiple fan speeds and cool light effects. Definitely cools the air by several degrees, even without ice in the holding tank. Looking forward to using it in the hot summer!

I'm extremely disappointed with this product, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The overall quality is subpar, and it feels like a cheaply made item.Key Issues:Flimsy Housing: The construction of the device is surprisingly fragile and doesn't inspire confidence.Intermittent Controller: The controller's performance is inconsistent, making it frustrating to use.Temperature Limitations: The device shuts down if the water is too cold, severely limiting its functionality.Value for Money: Thankfully, I didn't pay the full $70 price tag, or I would be even more upset. Considering its performance and quality, I wouldn't recommend paying anything near that price.Conclusion: Unless significant improvements are made, I would advise others to avoid this product. Its flaws make it more of a hassle than a convenience.

My Waveco Multifunction AC just arrived – and my wife has claimed it as her own. At night when I think the AC is perfect – she wants to drop it a few more degrees. Enter the Waveco AC unit. My wife reports this is much better than Using a fan. It is very quiet-she describes it as “white noise”-which facilitates sleep. This unit is very light weight even when filled with water. It is very portable. It has a timer, three speed regulation, and has a remote control. Now, how do I get back from my wife?

I was getting a little worried about the upcoming summer and decided to purchase something early in case I had to return it. This little machine is pretty handy! I don’t expect it to cool down my entire room, but it will keep me cool by my desk. I also like the colors when it’s on and in use :) you can turn them off if you want, but it’s a fun added touch.

Nice small portable unit. Used it only a couple of times, but plan on using it more when the weather gets warmer.
