Fix your skin from within
I thought I’d give this a try to help clear up my face starting with improving my gut health. All I had to do was chill the packet, chew it up and eat it once a day after a meal and I could see my face clear up, acne on my nose was gone and my skin appeared clearer. I didn’t have any weird side effects either. It seemed to also gave a my stomach good cleaning. I’m very happy with this supplement.

Yummy, but watch out for erythritol
As someone that is always on the lookout for skin care products, I found that applying collagen-containing products topically is pointless because collagen is much too big of a molecule to diffuse into your skin. So if you want to have it be more effective, it seems like ingesting it is the more effective choice. The type of collagen that is being used here is bovine collagen as a heads up to anyone who is a vegetarian/vegan. These really are as described: just a plastic package of flavored jelly that you squeeze and eat. Apparently you may also refrigerate them for better flavor but I just eat them as is with no complaint. Now for possibly the biggest downside: what I did not know after ordering this was that it contains a sugar alcohol named erythritol. This is the primary artificial sweetener in keto diets as it allows manufacturers to remove sugar and still have the sweet flavor retained. This is all well and good, but a major health study just recently found that erythritol was implicated in an increased risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke. Your body cannot break down erythritol, so it remains in its undigested form and circulates the bloodstream until you can excrete it in urine. It is a shame that these jelly packets have erythritol because I wanted to feel safe eating them. I'm positive that the amount you get in these is not a dangerous amount, but for the sake of beauty I am not willing to consume potentially unsafe compounds. However, this is just my opinion. I don't think erythritol is formally banned as of this review so it really is up to your discretion. I'm just going to eat the jelly sticks I have and call it good there. They definitely are yummy, but I think the manufacturer should try finding a safer sweetener to use if one exists.

Tasty way to get your collagen [Sweet orange flavor 10ct]
I like these jelly sticks! It's probably one of the tastier ways to take collagen. It's recommended to have the jelly stick cold, but I found the orange flavor to be tasty and aromatic even at room temperature. It reminds me of the mini jellies that are popular in Asian snacks. It'll take about 4 weeks to see results, and when I checked out Gelita's website on their patented VERISOL collagen, it was noted that the dose that their test subjects took was also 2.5g, so there is an appropriate amount of bovine derived hydrolyzed collagen in the jelly sticks. Pretty darn yummy supplements!

I like the taste
I think jelly packs are a fun way to consume collagen, similar to how Irish sea moss gel has become trendy. These taste just fine to me. I enjoy eating them. The only drawback is that these are sweetened with erythritol. Recently, reports have come to light about the impact if erythritol on the heart and it is associated with greater incidences of strokes. I'm not sure how much of it is needed to bring on these ill effects, but it is concerning so I would use these in alongside collagen supplements that don't contain worrisome ingredients.
