Ever After High Royal and Rebel Sisters (Twin Pack)

Ever After High is by the same creators as Monster High (Mattel) and whilst not as big over here in the UK as in the USA or as big in the UK as Monster High it does seem to be gaining momentum and becoming increasingly popular. Like Monster High there are webisodes and I have seen an awful lot of them, both with my nieces who are Ever After and Monster High mad and if I'm honest I've watched a few by myself too as I really quite enjoy them now! The theme tune is extremely catchy so beware if you haven't seen any yet as you'll be humming it for days!This is a gorgeous twin pack of the two sisters Holly and Poppy O'Hair who are the daughters of Rapunzel. Holly is a Royal and is destined to follow her mother's footsteps as the next Rapunzel and Poppy is a Rebel. Technically as the oldest twin it should be Poppy who is the next Rapunzel but for years everyone thought that Holly was the eldest and as Poppy likes to be free to choose her own destiny and Holly is happy to take her place as the next Rapunzel, they have decided to keep the age difference a secret. Holly enjoys reading and making up stories and enjoys helping others. Holly has a secret crush on Daring Charming and her best friend is of course Poppy. Poppy is a hair specialist and has a job at the local hair salon called the Tower Salon in the Village of Book End. She loves styling hair and is known as the best stylist but she also likes being unique and this is shown by her half dyed hair that she has also cut short.Both girls stand at approx 27cm tall and are very beautifully made. Holly has long strawberry blonde hair which is braided in part and essential for becoming the next Rapunzel. Holly wears a gorgeous dress with a netting underskirt and it has a gold braided hair detail all over the skirt with flower detailing too. A braided gold belt and glitter top part complete the look with her short sleeve wrap. She has fishnet tights on with killer heel gold shoes which have a beautiful brick tower detailing on the heel. She has a lilac see through crown, pink and gold bracelets, golden necklace with flower detail on, golden ring and her earrings are gorgeous and in the style of little hairbrushes. She also comes with a bag that does not open and is pink with purple flowers on the front. Her make-up and facial features are gorgeous and she is extremely beautiful.Poppy has short hair which is cut with one side longer than the other and half of her hair has been dyed purple with the other half left it's natural strawberry blonde colour like her sisters. She wears a lovely dress which also has a hair braid style on it but in silver and this is intersected by scissor designs throughout. She wears black legging underneath which have a see-through and stitching design along each side and her top of her dress has a see though stitched design on the sleeves the same as her sister. Poppy wears reddish pink boots which have a black lace design and also killer heels along with a scissor detail on each heel. She has a pink bow hairband on, black hair braided belt, has a purple and silver bracelet, silver ring, and really cute scissor earrings with one with a hanging braided hair design on and the other just in a scissor style. She also comes with a neck cowl in the design of a woollen scarf and has a little black bag which does not open but has little hairdressing tools inside the front pocket which are removable. They come with the usual doll stands, hair brushes and diaries and this is a lovely doll set to add to any collection.Ever After High is a boarding school where the children of fairytale and fantasy story characters are sent to follow their parents footsteps and embrace the same destiny. The thought is that if they don't then their stories will cease to exist and so will they, however not all of the students are happy with their destiny's. Raven Queen (daughter of the Evil Queen) is one of the students who is not happy with her destiny and has vowed to change her future whilst Apple White (daughter of Snow White) is more than happy to follow her destiny. So the school has been split with those that wish to embrace their future - Royals and those that don't - Rebels. I purchase a lot of these dolls and the Monster High dolls as I purchase them for my three nieces that are mad about them and I also always purchase a doll for my home and so generally I end up buying at least 3 of the same doll and the quality of them each time is brilliant.Another really excellent high quality set of Ever After High doll's which have been beautifully designed and made and are a good likeness to their characters in the webisodes. All of the Ever After High dolls are beautifully made and each of the ones I have bought and have so far (Ashlynn Ella & Hunter Huntsman, Briar Beauty, Apple White, Cedar Wood, Madeline Hatter, Kitty Cheshire, Duchess Swan, Lizzie Hearts, Blondie Locks, Ginger Breadhouse, CA Cupid, Dexter Charming, Alastair Wonderland, Darling Charming, Rosabella Beauty, Faybelle Thorn and Cerise Hood) have been absolutely gorgeous with lots of detailing and this set of Holly and Poppy O'Hair dolls does not disappoint either.

I'm not ashamed to say I received these dolls as a present for my 36th birthday and I wanted them! I'm an adult collector but I don't believe in keeping toys in a box gathering dust on a shelf, they will be played with. They are beautiful, Holly is my favourite, she is the Royal twin with the long hair. Holly wants to follow in her mother Rapunzel's footsteps and be rescued from her tower by a handsome prince whereas Poppy is a rebel and would rather be a hairdresser, she is sporting a rather trendy short cut. Their clothes are exquisite. Acessories include 2 stands, 2 hairbrushes and 2 diaries which are completely pointless because they are all written in several European languages but not English. I'm used to this from Amazon now but it still rankles, this set cost £25, is it too much to expect to be able to read it? The blurb on the back of the box is also unreadable. I also recently purchased Ashlynn Ella and Hunter Huntsman from Amazon, another double set. Weirdly, their diaries are in English. As it never tells you what you're going to get in the product specifications, who the hell knows?Dolls are 5* but deducting a star for European diaries.

My daughter is very keen on these Ever After High dolls, they have taken over from her asking for Disney princess dolls, which is funny because they are supposed to be the daughters of those very princesses! These 2 are the daughters of Rapunzel, they look funky and have cool hair and accessories. The detail is good, they even have removable earrings that look like tiny scissors (as they are hairdressers). My daughter was very pleased with them.

These dolls came a few days after they were purchased. The box was not squashed unlike some other dolls I have brought. The dolls had great outfits and they had all their accessories. but there were some problems with their hair and faces. Mine both had their eyes painted horribly. Poppy had her eyelashes coming out of the white of her eye and Holly's eyelashes were smudged. Their hair was very sticky and greasy. Apart from their face and hair issues that i am very disappointed about, the dolls are lovely.

My little girl LOVED these dolls as a special treat, but sadly the leg broke off one of the dolls within a few months and she was devastated. Not quite as sturdy as some fashion dolls unfortunately.

Christmas present for my children... what can I say? It is better than Barbie? But not quite as preferable as Monster High? It's what they want, so we just give the money and handover the gift. Whoever is in the same boat, then this is perfect for you!
