I was genuinely looking forward to trying these, with high hopes and a lot of excitement. As soon as they arrived, I opened the package and took a bite, anticipating the familiar sweet-and-sour balance of a fruit gusher.Unfortunately, the flavor didn’t meet expectations. The sour component was overwhelmingly strong, masking the sweet, fruity taste that typically makes gushers enjoyable. Instead of complementing the sweetness, the sourness left an unpleasant aftertaste.Overall, I’m disappointed. I was hoping for a nostalgic, flavorful treat, but the flavor profile fell short.

More sour than warheads and toxic waste combined. If you can't have enough sour these are great, but only if you truely can handle extreme sourness. Buyer beware though, don't breath in while eating these, I ended up having a coughing fit when I tried my first one. As far as the other reviews go, I feel like a lot of them didn't read the description properly as it says "extra sour" and isn't the standard "sour fruit gushers". These are like regular fruit gushers coated in flavored citric acid.

These were not sweet at all. All you taste is sourness. I couldn’t even taste the filling image gushers. There were more powder that it was candy. I purchased it because I wanted to get more for my money. It’s like 6 oz of candy and 2 ounces of powder.The candy looked old and stuck together. I’ve had much better than this. I have another order coming in tomorrow. I wish I could cancel, but it’s already been shipped.

When they said this is extremely sour they were right! By far the most sour thing I’ve ever eaten. But as a sourhead myself I love it!A lot of people are complaining about “burns” and I doubt it is actually burning them. They can make your tongue feel raw if you eat too many at once, which can feel like a burn. But as long as you’re not sensitive and you only eat a few at a time I think it’s good. I would recommend it, but only for those who truly love sour candy.

These weren't good at all. The gushers weren't fresh. Very hard to eat. The powder was clumpy and melted. I had a total of 4 before I had to discard in the trash.

Super sour, which I'm totally lovin'. I'm a sour freak and if you are one too, you'll really like these. I will definitely be buying again, only thing just wish I got more for the price.

The candy itself is not very good. It's too sour to be enjoyable while also tasting like chemicals. That being said, dipping other not sour enough candy into all the excess sour powder is amazing! I imagine you can get just the sour powder by itself somewhere, but this happy accident has me really excited. There is sour candy that I love the flavor of, but it's just never sour enough. Now I can get whatever candy has the best flavor and texture and dip it to whatever sour level I want. This dipping combo is my new favorite candy ever! I think dipping Albanese sour gummy bears is currently my favorite, but dipping sour gummy jolly ranchers is also quite good. I will try others soon.
