Pokémon Leaf Green (GBA)

I haven't played pokemon in an age as I never updated my console from my trusty gameboy advance, however when a friend reminded me that pokemon red and blue had once been rereleased as FireRed and LeafGreen I went on the hunt for them.The game is as good as ever, though if you played Pokemon red and/or blue there's not any surprises for you in the storyline. The pokemon selection is the same as red/blue (first 150) but there are some moves that weren't in the original games, and the pokemon stats and leveling syestem has been updated to match ruby and sapphire versions. Also in line with those versions the pokemon now have a personality (timid, happy, ect.) which slightly effects their stat growth, and a special ability (e.g. Pidgy's keen eye ability prevents accuracy loss).I bought my copy through the Amazon marketplace from SamuelUKMedia. It was advertised as cartridge only and good condition. The item arrived well before Amazon's estimated delivery time, and well packaged. Aside from the lack of box/instructions (no problem since pokemon has in game instructions) it's in near perfect condition.

I bought this game (Pokémon Leafgreen GBA) together with Pokémon Firered and Pokémon Emerald. My boyfriend is a really big fan of all the Pokémon games. He played them all except for those 3 because he never had a GBA. Now that he got one, I bought these 3 games and he loves them, He's really pleased with it and finally he got the opportunity to play all the games. I really recommend to al the Pokémon fans.

Arrived very quickly and is exactly the game I was looking for. I have always loved the pokemon games since I was a child. This game felt like a nice trip down memory lane and really in a good way! I enjoyed all the newer looks on the old story line that really made my childhood.I ordered it used from "We_aint_got_no_money" and they did a great job of giving me a real copy in a timely manner. I have ordered from them 3 times now and have never had any issues with them. They even gave me a free individual case to store the game in. If you are worried about fakes, I recommend ordering from these guys, They have never done me wrong. All 3 games (LeafGreen, FireRed, and Emerald) that I ordered from them, came quickly and with nice matching cases. No instructions, but pokemon games tell you how to proceed within the game, so no worries there.Overall, I loved this game and would recommend it to other pokemon lovers.

I love the game, infact I love all pokemon games. The only problem these days is trying to get a hold of a legitimate pokemon cartridge for a reasonable price. I advise you to contact the seller you wish to purchase prior to buying any cartridge and finding out if the cartridge they are selling is a legitimate one, also don't feel that you are being rude if you ask them if they know how to spot a fake. Do your research so you know yourself if what they say is true. Buying with knowledge is buying with confidence.

For the extortion charged, you expect a box for the game too. But no it arrived to me in bubble wrap and in a damaged box. Game does work but I have had to keep restarting the game as it freezes from time to time. Not too good, search for a cheaper and higher quality seller

It's a good looking fake, but still a fake. Right from the start the sound stopped when saving, but it came back after it was done. Now parts of the sound disappear completely after every time I save and I have to restart my DS for it to come back. Highly annoying.Even though I have gotten alot of fun times out of this game I don't trust it, I can only hope that nothing else stops working.Only advice I can give is be extremely careful when buying old GBA games as alot of them are fake and the quality is often poor. Do your reasearch about the game and you'll avoid falling into traps with, for example, wrong box/game art etc.

Arrived three days after placing the order and I was super pleased, until the saved file deleted just before I was about to challenge Brock. I let it go and started over, but it happened again after ten hours of gameplay and the system offered no back-up file. It happens, but usually when you knock or drop the console during save and I've learnt from past mistakes. My two lost saves came from nowhere.I love Pokemon and while LeafGreen leaves me without Arcanine, it was a great step-up from playing my GameBoy Colour... until my hard work was lost!Other than that, great price, great version and super fast delivery.

After reading some reviews from various places I was worried When I brought Leaf Green and Fire Red versions they weren't going to work, but I got this delivered on time with protective casing and it works fine, enjoying re-living my childhood.

Review could always change.So far I have a good feeling with this cartridge. It "seems" legit. it plays good. No signs of rom or loading/saving issues so far. so for now I personally would say it's a worth a buy if you don't mind the price. After a bit of time I will do an update if anything goes wrong

Works perfectly. Was happy the game is authentic and not a repro.

I've only played up to Emerald, that's about it, but this has to be my favorite version of all time.Leaf Green is the best of both worlds, it takes you back to where it all started with Blue and Red. It has the better graphics, access to new islands and the VS seeker, my favorite item ever.I like the original story from these games and I'm so glad that they were able to remake it into better graphics. I like how they added the islands where you're able to get new generation pokemon. I like how the Elite Four gets new generation pokemon after you visit the islands. VS Seeker is by far my best and most favorite item for two reasons, #1 its a fantastic way to level up your pokemon. #2 is a great way to make money. In Island 5 there are two trainers that give you up to $20,000.00 per battle, if you have the Coin Amulet. Not only are you getting pretty good experience points but you're also getting loads amount of cash. I was able to level up a couple pokemon while gaining the max $999,999.00 so after this I went and spent the money like never before, within the game, of course.I don't know, this game is just awesome. I wish they could release the original Yellow Version in a new graphics version. With the added features that this game has plus what the new generations are offering.
