Hits the Goldilocks zone of EDC
Best EDC for the money and for the Common Man. I was one of the first tool salesmen to sell the first Leatherman back in the '80s, but was never one to have an EDC myself - until I found myself always looking for a tool in recent years. This hits the sweet spot; not too big, not too small. Not too expensive, not too cheap. The main blade is one of the best types of steel, VG-10. The scissors aren't just a cheap add-on but a big reason to choose this. It's got a proper jeweler's screwdriver, reversible Phillips and slotted at that. Both the saw and the 'rip' blades are seriously capable, the hex driver and extra bits better than many dedicated drivers, and the file - not to mention the usual can/bottle opener, wire stripper, large flat blade, the pliers head with replaceable wire cutters and visible measurements on the rounded handle are extremely well machined. The titanium-coated handle makes it smooth, cool and comfortable to the touch and the clip makes it the perfect size and weight. It's got that "IT" factor and IMHO is probably the best EDC knife out there, and I did a lot of research before settling on it. Glad I waited for it to come back in stock.

Pleasantly Surprised
This tool is a very well made pocket toolbox that will help you have a tool when you need one. The main blade is very sharp and made of good steel for a price under 50 dollars. it is a quarter of the price for a leather man tool which is probably better but we can't really be sure of it since this Rocktrol is very nice itself and will last forever if you take care of it. The main blade is VG10 Steel and is very nice in size and sharpness standards. That steel is upper mid grade at least and will last a lifetime if you don't totally abuse it. It came very sharp and all I did was strop it on my leather sharpener case to make it shaving sharp with very little effort. The tool comes with a nice sheath and it has 3 additional double sided bits for the screw driver tool. That is something I have never seen from any other vendor's products. I am a retired AST from the Coast Guard and this would be a very nice addition to anyone's survival bag. All tools lock into place when pulled out fully for use and it takes a second to push in on a liner lock extension to fold tool back into place. I got this on a whim to check it out and compare to my leather man tools and this tool is just as good and even better in some aspects, such as it has titanium protectors on both sides of the tool to protect against damage or scratches. I have not noticed any of either happening to my new tool. After using for a couple weeks it is well worth the money you will spend on one and it even went down anther 6 bucks so if you get one it's only 44 bucks right now.

A good, if not great, multitool for less than $40.
I just got the Rocktol. I have owned and used a leatherman wave, P4, and arc. In my opinion the rocktol is as good as any of the leatherman tools - solid, smooth, good assortment of tools, comfortable to hold, and well built. Not sure how easy it will be to put into the case one handed with the small compartment in the case for bits. Incredible for the cost. I paid $35. At this point I believe the Rocktol is quite comparable to the arc, which I bought for $250! Of course, the Rocktol is made in China. Let's see how it holds up.

An economical Wave replacement
This is an adequate replacement for a LM Wave. I've lost and replaced multiple Waves over the years but I had just had enough of spending over $130 a year on multitools. I've carried a Wave daily for about 12 years now. There are 2 areas that this tool falls short of the Wave. While I do appreciate that the pocket clip is included, it is not as strong as the Wave's nor does it carry as deep. And the file has been demoted to an inside tool of much lesser utility than the Wave's full size outside file. I haven't even been tempted to use it and I work with steel every day.For normal use I'd say it's functionally identical to a Wave. The pliers work every bit as well and close tightly. The knife comes out of the box sharp. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase and I think there's a much better value here than what LM offers. Their pricing has gotten ridiculous.

Worth every penny for the price
It's very well made, you can feel how it's kind of heavy. It's a really sturdy all those moving parts move very well. They're very sharp. Just so you know, be careful when you open it up. The plier's lineup perfectly. You can see everything in the pictures, perfect. It's going in my bug out bag.

Here is the real breakdown about this multi-tool no BS
I was looking for the ultimate worlds best multi-tool so I would not have to ever replace them due to breakage or warranty issues ever.I researched Leatherman, SOG (Special Operations Group), and Gerber etc.I have had them all.Well after about 1 year of research and You tube reviews by the 100's I finally committed to get the top o the line Rocktol 27 devices in 1, Gen 2, V10 blade, multi-tool.I carry this in my EDC pack wherever I go and so far I am not disappointed. It has nothing on it that is proprietary so you can upgrade your bits that are all standard 1/4", You can upgrade your saw blade and the scissors are great! It is the best you can get, and it is a Chinese made multi-tool, and it is now on top of the heap.Until U.S. manufacturers, (who claim by the way it is all made here but its not,)ever get it together to beat this tool made in China, I will be watching and waiting for this to happen. In my INCH (I'm Never Coming Home) Bag, I have the top of the line 27 in 1 S.O.G. Multi-tool,with ratchet and bit kit. It is much heavier and made for the replacement of much bigger tools so its not really an Every Day Carry multi-tool.If you want the best multitool as of 3-2025 this one is the best you can get and it will last a long time without fail.I hope this helps out my fellow people out there. It is much heavier and would be usedYes I love mostly U.S.A. made stuff, but this manufacturer made a serious
