It said it was plastic & metal, but the only thing metal is the roller inside. Not made like they used to be. I was expecting it to have a metal casing, like they used to!!!

It doesn't feel like it's very good quality, feels a bit flimsy but I've had this for about a year now and it's still working fine so it's better than it initially appears to be. Has loads of hanging space as it stretches the length of my upstairs landing and has no problem with the weight when full so highly recommend.

Item seems like should do what its supposed to, was tangled internally but it was a returned order, but easily enough fixed. However the hooks to attatch the line to the opposing wall when hanging washing were missing. Vileda say it sits with amazon, amazon point you towards vileda and the item is no longer available on amazon so sent back for refund.

Great product especially in the winter when raining can hold a lot of washing really pleasedgreat price as well

My biggest regret is that I didn't heed my initial misgivings when I unpacked this, and instead installed it.For starters, it looks and feels cheap and flimsy. It comes with wall plugs, screws, and something approaching instructions, but even the screws are some rubbish soft metal that will practically dissolve if looked at wrong. As another purchaser noted, the lines are not equal length, so when stretched across a 3m room, some are loose and some are tight. The locking knob is stiff, and with the lines extended, it jammed and was extremely difficult to unlock.Going by how the lines stretched when trying it out with a dry duvet cover, I didn't even bother using it with wet clothes, and instead took it straight down to pack up and return.I don't understand how anyone gave this 5 stars, let alone 2.

Great product, bought to replace one I'd had and used for fifteen years. I have no garden so washing must be dried indoors, and this is fixed in the bathroom and allows drying away from main living area. Really useful item.

I am using this for a small sheltered area outside, its screwed onto a wooden fence which can be done quite easily. It stretches quite easy across and can be retracted easy. The only thing I would say, the space between the cords could have been wider. If you put many items on there isn’t much airing room then between. Other than that its very handy to get clothes dried in times when we dont want to use tumble dryers too much and its cheap enough for the job in hand

Hung over my mum's bath. Sturdiness seems ok. She is able to put any items on there at sametime as 4 lines so good storage capacity. It was lightweight to hold for fixing to wall and pulling the lines out and back in after use and
