Amazing product! I used this for the first time this year on a holiday abroad, where the temperature was high 30s. I found it to be very effective. Its not like the chemical toxic suncreams - this one is non toxic and natural so its got a very different consistency. Its thick and takes a while to rub in and does leave a slight white cast. However, this didn't bother me at all as I personally like to see where I have applied suncream. I kept re applying every few hours and I didn't burn once. I came home with a lovely golden tan. Its also very water resistant. It does have a slight natural earthy type smell but that dissappears once its applied onto the skin. Overall it's the best sun cream I have ever used and its reassuring knowing its made with only 4 non toxic ingredients.

I really like this product for many reasons but mainly, and most importantly is that it does a very good job in protecting from the harmful rays of the sun! I’m not sure why I thought otherwise yet it is surpassing really thick and therefore long lasting when it comes to needing to re-apply the cream. Perhaps I thought that with the ingredients being natural and non toxic and harmful that it would be watery and I affective, but quite the opposite really. In fact, it should be applied sparingly as it sits on top of the skin quite thickly as opposed to seeping in like more commercial sun creams. This then hits on another really important element of this product and that is the ingredients. I was looking for something natural due to the increasing research supporting that commercial sun creams could in fact be toxic and more harmful than good. I was looking for a natural alternative for my family (including kids) and this is when I stumbled upon this. It couldn’t get more natural and you really can tell when using this product. The cream applies to the skin really nicely and almost acts a moisturiser. More so it doesn’t leave a thick film on the skin and seems to absorb slowly and gradually and even then leaves the skin feeling so smooth and soft as opposed to greasy and oily. I really like this product. We have been using it for at least 2 summers now and would recommend it to literally everyone and anyone.

Used on African Holiday. Worked wonderfully. Its a chemical free, natural sunscreen aha really works!! The tin contains a solid white cream that is fragrance free. It was hot where i was so it was smooth to apply but I imagine in colder weather (ski resorts etc) you might need to rub the surface a little to warm it up. I was worried that the oils and butters would have been to greasy for my face but i was fine and suffered no breakouts as a result of using it (though when in the UK my skin tends to be on the drier side, so if you have oily skin test it out first). I have darker skin so I found that this does leave a whitish/ grey residue- due to the non- nano zinc, fair skin may not experience this problem. However, I found that this can be minimised in 2 ways; 1) Exfoliate your skin before using it. I found out this works by accident. After 2 days of grey tinge on my face (i looked as though i was getting ready for some kind of tribal ceremony), on the third day I applied the screen after I had washed my face with a face scrub and I found the product was able to absorb into my skin much better, so there was really very little whiteness left behind. 2) Use the screen 20-30 mins before you are ready to go out. I found that after this time, the whitishness faded. esp. when the weather was very hot. And don't be put off by the size, it lasts for ages! I was away for 3 weeks and still have 80% left (just me using it). I love the fact that there are no nasty chemicals and so few ingredients. It is not fragranced I got no burnt bits and no heat rash and this was in 34 degree heat!! I would recommend reapplying if you plan to swim or if you sweat a lot but i did not do either of these things and only applied twice per day and was fine. I would definitely recommend.

I'm allergic to mainstream brands of sunscreen so this is a little gem find for me. Made from simple ingredients it's much kinder to your skin than applying all those unpronounceable chemicals in regular sunscreens. I apply it to myself and my children and we are all very fair skinned. It protects efficiently, just be careful to check your sun exposure until you find out for yourself how much protection it gives for you. It hasn't got a high sunscreen "factor", but it's simple enough to just reapply as you need to. Having been used to sunscreen in a lotion format it was strange at first opening a tin and seeing a solid looking paste inside. When the weather is warmer it melts and applies easier. If you are using it for skiing weather you just need to warm it a little in your hand before applying. It's not difficult to apply as it melts on contact with your skin and then spreads quite easily. At first I was applying way too much in quite a thick layer, but I later found this wasn't necessary. This cream is effective as long as you make sure you've applied it properly ( like any sunscreen). I actually got a patch of sunburn in a small patch I'd missed on my arm, so I knew the cream had been effective in protecting the rest of me. It doesn't smell like a regular sun cream as it is unscented , but has its own light pleasant smell - like baby zinc oxide cream. I love the option of the handy pocket sized small size tin to carry around. The large size though is better value and is still slim enough to slip into a bag.

I was looking for a natural sunscreen for my upcoming holiday to mexico, that was free from all the toxic chemicals that most sunscreens contain. After reading about this product on the companies website and all the positive customer reviews on amazon, I decided to purchase. I understood this product contained zinc oxide which I accepted would come out white on the skin. However, after following all the instructions, the application of this product wasn't as smooth as described. Even warmed up in the hand pre- application, it was extremely difficult to apply and did not absorb equally. Hence I had patches on the skin where I'd burnt- where the product had not absorbed successfully. My body normally tans quite easily. After 2 days of using the product and red patches on my body, I resorted to using the local sunscreen from the hotel shop. I will therefore not be purchasing this product again and would certainly not recommend to any of my friends or family. I would also caution customers who would use this product in a very hot country especially those with sensitive skin who are susceptible to burning. Considering the value of other sunscreens in the market, the shade 100ml is £8.75!!! That is certainly not good value for money. I'd advise others to look elsewhere.

A great product, natural ingredients, and children have not burnt in the hot holiday sunshine. 3 stars as the price has doubled, and the quantity you get for such a price tag may not justify it. If you can afford it, however, then I do recommend it!

This is a very firm 'cream'. A small amount placed in the palm of your hand and warmed up with your fingers, turns it quickly to a consistency easy to apply. It leaves a slight white sheen when applied, which soon disappears. It means you know where you have applied it. The scent is slight but pleasant. The packaging is sturdy and suitable for travelling. The lack of chemicals and the use of natural ingredients is great. I would recommend this product on many levels.

I'm most impressed with this product. My wife's dermatologist recommended she use a zinc oxide sunscreen. We bought this one, and I tried it myself. It does make my face look a ghostly white colour when I first put it on, but that soon fades, and it is effective at preventing sunburn when I'm out on the fells all day. And it smells good, and has one great advantage over the 'normal' sort of sunscreen I've used before. When I'm striding uphill on a sunny day, I do tend to perspire, and then sunscreen runs into my eyes, making them sting. But this product doesn't do that. It stays put where I've applied it, so my eyes don't sting. It continues to give me protection for hours instead of being quickly wiped off. Applying the product on a cold day takes a bit of effort, and a mirror. Rubbing the surface with three fingers softens it enough so that it can then be rubbed over the face, neck and anywhere else it may be needed. Because it is white, I can see which bits I've covered, and which I haven't. On a warm day it's soft enough to apply easily. I hope I haven't made it sound 'difficult' to use - this is a five-star review - it's just that it is a bit of a change from the runny liquids in bottles that I'm more used to. Having got used to it, I'll be sticking with it.

Esta bien xq no contiene toxicos ni disruptores, eso si, es pastosa, yo la llevo en el coche y del calor se ablanda pero si la tienes en casa hasta cuesta coger, deja blanco pero las que no dejan son las toxicas asi que bien

Even though it’s a small can it goes goes a long way. Make sure to store it not too cold it’s easier to apply if it’s warm. Otherwise you get little chunks on your face and the white colour of it shows.
