FluvalA14652 Spec I&II Replacement Water Pump

I didn’t realize how badly my old pump was functioning but I ignored the evidence. Since replacing it with the new pump, the aquarium has been clean and algae free. The first one lasted about 6 years. Not bad for a small submersible device. I definitely recommend this pump.

This was a replacement for the one that came with my Fluval aquarium. I tried to find one locally but couldn’t and this is the only one that fits in the space that is made to hold it. It was more expensive than others. It’s aggravating that the aquarium design limits you to using their filter.

I think this is a little expensive for what it is. The original pump that came with the Spec V expired within 2 years. This is the only pump that will fit that. However, upon installing replacement, the aquarium is humming again. My Spec V was only down less than 2 days. Fast shipping.

I bought this pump to use in my Fluval Spec V 5gal tank. I did have to turn it sideways to fit but it is working perfect! It does not come with any tubing so make sure you hang onto your old ones.

Not a genuine pump. Makes no sense to pay a premium for a genuine pump when there are plenty of knock off pumps at half the price. Turns out Amazon doesn't care about this and allows sale of sub-par non-oem parts at premium price. Obtained this as a replacement for the original pump in my Fluval View 3-gallon aquarium. Works perfectly and direct replacement. Highly recommended!

This pump is an identical replacement for the pump in my Spec 2. It does not come with tubing, elbow or nozzle. I’ve included a picture of the pumps together (new pump on right) so that you can see they match.

Bought the over-priced product because my aquarium pump died and this had fastest shipping. Went to swap it out and the old pump fired right up after a hot water flush and scrub. Couldn't return it and it's overly expensive compared to similar products... but I guess that's my problem now.

Quick delivery, quiet filter pump that fit in the small allocated space. Quite pricey but if it lasts well worth it.

The power is strong, but noisy

Da ich auf diese Größe von Pumpe angewiesen bin brauche ich sie. Doch leider ist es schon die 2. In Folge die nach nicht einmal einem Jahr nicht mehr funktioniert. Läuft einwandfrei bis sie mit einmal nicht mehr funktioniert. Die Qualität lässt wirklich zu wünschen übrig.
