Wooden Soil Sifter, Garden Sifter with Handle, Sifter for Dirt Compost Rock and Potting Soil

This is the second set of these that I've bought in a short period of time. Excellent for use at the beach,on land, or in the garden. The weight of them are minimal for the size of the box and offers great functionality. Handles on the two sides seem to be attached very well and greatly improve the ease of use. This is hands down the best value for money that I found for a sifting box.

Excellent for sifting potting mix. Very well made and the handles are sturdy.

This is a perfect screen for sifting compost and dirt to remove larger pieces of rock or other debris, but if it were a little bit bigger it would be better to use for that purpose. Having said that I knew the size before I ordered them it's posted on the site so that's on me. Overall it's a nice screen sifter and well made will probably last for years as long as I take care of it and I'm happy with the purchase.

The sifter looks very nice and is, indeed, smooth as described. The handles are a great feature. The description doesn't mention the type of wood. It is lightweight and light-colored, so my best guesses are fir, poplar or pine with no knots. It's put together well, although those aren't real dovetail joints and probably won't last as long. It's a very nice size for small projects, such as cleaning plant debris out a child's sandbox or searching a small area of dirt for a lost ring or key, as well as the uses mentioned in the description. The current price, $52.99, seems a bit steep. We once made a sifter twice this size out of scrap wood for just a few bucks! At least you won't have to put this together!

This is a great option if you don't have the means to build your own sifter. Besides is very reasonable and easy to handle. I've left it out in the elements and so far it hasn't rusted or anything which is really surprising. My only complaint is that it's pretty expensive at full price but worth a consideration when it's on sale if you aren't able to build your own

This Qutiing sifter turned out to be better made, more useful, and slightly larger than I had expected. I knew it should be nice at this price point, but I was still glad to see how it made sifting soil easier than the experience I've had with other sifters.The sifter's handles are a nice feature, letting you hold the item easily while shaking the soil loose. The quality of the wood and the metal mesh are also really nice. I expect this item to be useful for a really long time, given its high build quality.We have pretty rocky soil, so whenever we dig for planting, we come across lots of rocks of different sizes. This sifter works really nicely to separate those rocks and let you return the soil to the hole very easily. This works much more effectively than other sifters I've used that have been kind of clunky and oversized. This one lets you get right into the action, while still being sufficiently large for efficiency. Very nice.In all, the only downside I'd see for this product is its relatively high price point. The sifter itself is a really good product, one that should be sifting soil for a long time to come. Nice item.

At the beginning of spring I bought these bags of Garden soil that were on sale for an awesome price and when I started potting things I realized why they bags were so cheap, seemed to have huge pieces of mulch in them and picking them out was such a hassle. Now I can use this sifter to get rid of all the darn pieces of wood in my soil bagsThe sifter itself is sturdy and can handle a decent amount insideThe handles are securely fastened to the boxI am very pleased with this sifter, it's going to help me in so many ways

This is really well built. They really put in effort to make it look nice and feel sturdy. As for sifting it works as you would expect of course. I don't know if I'd buy it for the full price but that's up to you. All I can say is I'm really impressed so far.
