I would have been better off buying two used iPhone 4s phones, taping them back to back and recording through that. I am not happy with the overall quality of the video or the software, but the device itself is perfect in size for the windshield as to not obstruct my view. The 12V cord is long enough to run around the dash, however I chose not to do that. The software leaves MUCH to be desired. I am not sure what language its written in but, it crashes frequently. I will try it out one more night, and try the software on other computers just to make sure its not a problem with my laptop, but if it continues to crash, this whole device will be useless to me.Final thought:I feel like this is something I could have purchased on eBay for $20. This is not worth the sale price of $169.99, or especially the list price of $249.99. I already made a folder I call bad drivers on my computer and it's full of idiots driving poorly. My main reason for buying this is I had a traffic accident where I Was at fault and when the people sued me they had a different person driving the car and the car I hit wasn't even the same car. From that day on I swore never to drive without a camera. this one works great for me now.
